Hey found this to e a very interesting article. Funny how we are supposed to be an example....but for what exactly I do not know.
This sits right up there with the Miami non-rulling in my book.
That story has been out for awhile and is actively trying to be hidden from the masses. Penn State has received a lot of heat because our situation deals with multiple child victims, and of course everyone agrees that those crimes were awful. In the grand scheme of things though I don't see how a Notre Dame football player basically forcing a poor girl to commit suicide should be ignored by the NCAA, since they have set a precedent of stepping in on criminal matters.
After writing out a statement and submitting to medical attention, she received texts from another member of the team that read, “Don’t do anything you would regret” and “Messing with Notre Dame football is a bad idea.”
Not just her. Saw an article that talked about how women have been hearing the "Don't mess with ND football" message since the 70's. Another woman was supposedly raped even more recently (2011) and got hundreds of text messages with something similar.
