"You have to perform at a consistently higher level than others. That's the mark of a true professional." JVP
Currently we have 9 open spots, but ultimately I feel we end up around 13. Its hard not to imagine at least 4 kids either transfering, forgoing 5th years, or declaring early.
QB-0 No need at this time and no real standouts like Hack that are must gets. Take one next year.
RB-2 Allen & Scott
WR-2 Take 2 preferably a combo of Goodwin/Williams and Apke
TE-0 No major need for this cycle. Start recruiting the top kids for 2015.
OL-2 Regardless of what's been said I feel 2 will be the number. (1) Juco OT who could provide immediate depth and one HS prospect who can take time to develop.
DT-1-2 This will be interesting. Currently they are saying 1 but I think you need to put a premium on quality DTackles. I'd take 2. Holley and Walker if both were interested.
LB-2 Reeder at ILB and 1 more at OLB
DB-3-4 I'd take 3. (1) Major safety prospect like Nicholson and 2 CB's. Give me Henry and a ham sandwich and I'd consider CB a success.
It's hard to say I'd be happy with any number under 12, but I think we need at least 11 for me to be comfortable with each position. 2 RB's, 1 WR, 2 OL, 1 DT, 2 LB, 3 DB.
