I'm not sure it has been verified that the person who made that comment was actually V2. If he was AT ALL credible, the defense would have called him to the stand obviously.
What I also found odd was that Dranov said MM saw a boy look around the corner and then get pulled back in by an arm. Then he saw Sandusky walk out right after that.. I believe that story matches or is very similar to the story that Graham Spanier described; which opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.
I could go along with most of this.
Except I don't think he embellished his story at all until the Grand Jury and Police got a hold of him. By then I believe he may have been in to some other stuff and was a little coerced to enbellish to them. I also think that in the years following that MM was told by Sandusky's son Matt, as the 2 were friends, what his dad was actually up to. Therefore a few motives in order to help himself and his friend.
As far as JVP and what he said. I will always prescribe to the theory that he was spoon fed by MM right before he went to the GJ. I will always believe a quick "Hey Mike, what exactly did you tell me in 2002?" And that turned in to the reason that MM and JVP's story match up so quickly.
