Without any drama Tyler Boyd to Pitt. What was interesting was the announcer said that it was a big commitment as Pitt lost out on another local WR prospect Robert Frost.
Good for Pitt. Maybe he can help them crack .500 next season.
I can't be too upset, PSU didn't even make his final 3 and a bunch of his teammates are already committed to Pitt. I think without sanctions PSU may have had a pretty good shot but WR is one of the positions I'm not really worried about right now.
Dominate The State
He can expect to experience his first loss in awhile early next year.
Hey I understand if a kid wants to stay close to his family. That has worked in our favor plenty of times. He turned down other, better programs than Pitt. So its not as if he chose Pitt over PSU.
Robert Frost. Good receiver and poet. Authored the Road Not Taken...to Happy Valley.
JoePa's Doghouse @RowlffDogg
If the WR from Clairton plays really well at Pitt, they'll rename empty Heinz Field "Tyler's Void." #PittHate2013
Dallas Jackson @RivalsDallas
Boyd: "It feels real good, I'm probably going to look at few more schools but right now I am sticking with #Pitt"
So is that it for the 2013 class for now? Are we working hard on any other recruits for this class now or saving them for next year?
Fanboy meltdown in 3,2,1.......
I have a feeling unless a high profile recruit shows some interest or PSU loses a kid, the staff is going to save the remaining scholarships for next year because of the limited number of scholarships they will have.
Wonder happened to rmj with this news? Maybe he drank some Jonestown punch and call it quits. Hope not kinda like the guy and his love for PSU.
Call me crazy but I think he becomes a Nittany Lion. O'Brien will work his magic, get him on campus, and the rest is history.
I didnt know where else to put this, but this was from the UA Game thread on Pitt yesterday...Owtahear character once again showing himself.
(see the 2nd screenshot after Dorian Johnson committed to PSU).
LOL and Bob L had this to post about UA Game QBS:
"Production was atrocious, as Steel said I struggled to even see the numbers of the players. Johnson played very well. Chris Jones is a monster and Hargreaves is legit.
I still have yet to see a QB who impresses me more than Damion Terry"
HAHAHAHAHHA, remember when he was pumping up Pitt recruits on scout. I know the kid is a MSU commit but same old Bob. Anyone not going to PSU is better than PSU recruits.

"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
The Pitt board is full of a bunch of degenerate assholes. I'm glad I was banned from that cesspool.
Someone should tweet that second bit to DJ. Let him know how 1/7 of the Pitt fan base feels about him.
...besides the yellow seats of course.
"PSU a 3 to 4 win team" - New-era, September 2012
Stop. The kid had made up renewed interest in PSU. This was never going to happen.
Pitt is lucky no one knows this game is on. I haven't watched any of it but the score says a lot.
They are a despicable fan base. I am a WVU fan and I have been to a few games at heinz field, absolute bitter fan base. When you guys play them again give em a good ass whopping for us, like PSU use to do to WVU, back in the day.

The only thing that would have made this Pitt loss sweeter was if Tino would have passed Marino for passing yards at Pitt. Then Pitt fans would have to forever see Tino Sunseri's name ahead of Dan Marino!
+ONE for the screen name.
We will get the Boyd's and Williams of the world post sanction. In the mean time, BOB just brings in plenty of talent in spite of the sanctions. Pitt and Ohio State have directly benefited from the sanctions. It is all good. Pitt still sucks and OSU's days at the top of the Big Ten are numbered.
No, on Bob's PennLive interview, he said he is hoping for a couple of kids but could not mention their names.
I think we are done ... the only movement could be Walton bailing for USCe. Unless OB takes Singleton, or revisits Crayton (still think he is waiting on an offer from an SEC school), I don't see another addition. Keep Walton and pocket the two left overs for next year making 17 instead of 15.
