I would love to have the sanctions reduced as the NCAA should not have got involved with a criminal case. I will hold my opinion of who is guilty and innocent in this whole mess until all of the facts are out. I truly hope that Joe, Curley, Schultz and Spanier were as deceived as everyone else by this predator but there are still a lot of unknowns regarding this whole situation.
I will say that it is a really good sign that someone like woj who still thinks PSU's football program is to blame and that the NCAA was justified to act is speaking out to reduce them.
lol, what? I edited my post to show I was quoting Gene Wojciechowski. If I'm still wrong please enlighten me.

IMO the greatest value in this article, the general collapse of the NCAA reputation, and other opinions breaking in PSUs direction is the effect that it has on the real money case of PA vs. NCAA. It begins to remove some of the blistering headwinds faced by Kane in rendering a decision to give PA standing, and ultimately win this thing.
Toast to my Penn State brethren tonight. Its a good one
Perhaps Gene Wojciechowski is one of those "journalists" beginning to realize that they jumped on the guilty until proven innocent band wagon? Perhaps he, and others, are backtracking now? Perhaps they see the writing one the wall that the Corbett lawsuit has merit and may ultimately succeed? Maybe they actually read the Paterno rebuttal and now have second thoughts? These "journalists" and ESPIN are too proud to admit they screwed the pooch. The George Mitchell quarterly reports give both the sports media and the NCAA a face saving way out especially if there is in fact a verbiage in the consent decry that allows this. Won't be the least bit surprised if Emert uses the "This Consent Decree may be modified or clarified by mutual written consent of the parties." clause if it becomes apparent that the PA verses the NCAA makes it to court. I don't care how the injustice is undone so long as it is.
"I like your head, it's a good look." - James Franklin, to a bald reporter asking a question.
I have given up hope we clear the name completely... Get rid of sanctions... I will take it
