I'll start: Akeel Lynch
Can't wait to see his combination of power and speed.........a big kid with 4.4 speed.... he's probably up to 215 at this point after Fitz got a hold of him....
Geno Lewis...kid is going to be a player
A healthy bill belton
Geno Lewis - I think it is possible that he could take away playing time from BMF who is a bit limited.
I also can't wait to see what the combo of Jesse James and Kyle Carter do this year.

On defense I want to see Anyhony Zattel as full time starter.
AWESOME IDEA for a thread:
I was going to go Geno Lewis or Wartman but since they are both spoken for let me throw out
I will go with Allen Robinson on offense and Amos on defense.
I think Robinson will command a ton of attention thus letting others have good years and I think Amos will now be the guy people go away from so I hope Davis is working his tail off.
Lot's of guys...Bench, who I think will win the job, I'm certainly excited to see how he performs. Lynch obviously, but Zwinak as well, another year of developing both on the field & in the weight room...he's only to be getting better. Love our RBs. A-Rob taking that step into the elite category. He's obviously very good, but I really want to see him take over a game. He had some really good games this year (Indiana, Navy, etc), but he's still hasn't reached his potential. Lewis too. Smith & Barnes taking that next step...Zettel being a full time starter now. Hull being a full time too, I'm sure he'll have 100+ tackles with ease. Can't forget about Wartman. I'm excited to see guys like Willis & Carson, as I think they're the leaders on this team. They have some big shoes to fill though.
Donovan Smith ... healthy. He played hurt most of last year. He has such a huge upside.

Mmmmm. Good topic.
Lynch for me
This - a full year with Fitz and Mac, a year of experience and coming back healthy......
Love this response! Man, there are so many kids that are going to be fun to watch! And with our fantastic coaching staff - I am already fired up! Fitz is getting them ready....... can't wait to next season!
Khairi Fortt.....I jest!
Glenn Carson. He should be a leader on the D and I'm thinking this is a huge year for him.
October 12, 2013. PSU 43 - UM 40 (4 OT). Unfortunately this fan wasn't around long enough to see it!
Geno Lewis. Guy is supposed to be absolute stud. Imagine 2 guys with Robinson type skills, Carter, Jesse James (who they say cannot be covered in 7 on 7 drills), ZZ, and many others waiting in the wings. Lets not forget an experienced OL, a year of S&C with Fitz, and everyone knowing the scheme/playbook. This offense will give them a chance to win every game.
IMO, Lewis could make the offense scary good. Also excited for Bench, Lynch, and Austin Johnson. I think Johnson has the out of no where season this year much like ZZ, Robinson from last year and becomes the next stud DL anchor.
This team with good QB play has potential to be VERY good.
So can we just say you're excited for the 2013 football season
Agree. I think Mike Hull is All Big 10 this year and All American next year. Carson becomes the leader this year and tries to fill Mauti's role there, whereas Hull turns into an absolute beast and blows up the stat sheets.
I'll go with Wartman (he had that stud look about him, limited snaps I know). I would also say Lynch, though I expected to hear more buzz about him last year. Lewis seemed to get the majority of the redshirt buzz so obviously can't wait to see him.
He's the key to the season.
The QB battle is one I'm looking forward too. Advantage to Bench being as he's had a full season under BOB's system. Tyler Ferguson's advantage is at least 1-year experience at the next level above HS. And I don't discount Hack for sheer potential.
I will agree however that QB play is the "key to the season". I'm just not convinced that Bench will be THE QB next year. That said, whoever wins the position will be a step up from what we've been able to field there in recent years.
And if MM's improvement last year is any indication, given the talent I am positive that this staff can coach 'em up!
Tyler Ferguson. I think he'll surprise a lot of folks and win the job.
