When you are drunk and a little something else and sheetz magically comes into focus. There is really nothing better.
“Never trust a government that doesn't trust its own citizens with guns.”
Except for that moment when you see WaWa or Whataburger (don't ask, it's a Texas thing; Google if you have to).
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Whataburger breakfast burritos!! I was at Ft. Hood and was introduced to them:) Shiner you can get just about anywhere though, and is awesome.
Yessir. Best damn state in the union.
That peppercorn sauce on the melts is phenomenal.
I miss Braums too.
Whataburger and In 'n Out are the two best fast food burgers. I really wish they would franchise on the east coast.
I definitely like WaWa more than Sheetz. Miss them.
In and out hands down. Next best drunk 4am food is Waffle House.
'Respect All Fear None."
Wrong, in my opinion. And it's not even close
To each their own, but I agree. Wawas are very good/solid (especially when drunk), but I think the loyalty to them has more to do with nostalgia and geography than quality.
I have no loyalty to either (tried each of them when I was college age), and IMO the Sheetz MTO is clearly a higher quality sandwich.

Hoagie Fest at the Wawa is the greatest thing ever.
They don't branch out from Texas much. There's a couple in western Louisiana, some along 35 in Oklahoma until you get to OKC, and I think one or two in New Mexico.
Says the guy who's never had whataburger.
I miss Sheetz but it is for the best I guess. Since moving away from them I cut way back on the late night/early morning feasts since the local go to is White Castles. I have tried my best to give them a shot but I just cant do it, it has been better on the waistline though.
I remember back in the early nineties they had a pretty respectable taco I use to get all the time when stumbling home from a party.
Haha whataburger is so good! I live in Houston.
For me, Subway and Taco Bell that were on the West end of College Avenue were the 2am honey holes!
Whataburger is okay, there is one on every block in Florida as well as Waffle House.
Sheetz is the best drunk food. Denny's is a close second for me, and Taco Bell.
Wish Saltgrass Steak House would franchise around PA instead if Lonestar. I quite liked my meal. So disappointed that I got that stomach virus or food poisoning for most if my time there. I loved the food that I did get to eat in Texas.
My view on the state changed while I was down there. I thought I would hate it but I ended up liking it.
Taco Bell moved. It is now next to the church across from the HUB.
Sheetz is much better than Wawa! Can't speak for Whataburger as I've never been there.
Whataburger is not better than Sheetz. I can promise you that!
Envisioning everyone in this threat as the stoner kids in the Sheetz commercial.
That said, I have never in my life looked forward to eating anything there other than beef jerky.
Taco Bell was always the drunk food go to for me. Around here, there are some locations with the Drive Thru open til 4am on the weekends.
Pizza was always my late night food. I avoided any food places in Beaver Canyon but liked the old Hi-Way Pizza, that pizza place in the red brick building on West College at the corner of Atherton next to the old Arby's, and later that basement place on Locust Lane and Calder Way (College Pizza?). And CC Peppers always made a great morning after recovery sub and fries.
