This was tweeted at me today, not sure how much momentum this has at this point but the students are apparently putting together a student white out for Saturday.

Did they get approval from the King and the Board of disrespect?
it's got a ton of momentum. This will get pulled off IMO. Kudos to the students.
You don't need the BOT's approval just Erickson's remember?

I honestly think the student white out looks better than the full-stadium one.
Thanks to STEP and other factors there are going to be some empty seats for the foreseeable future but the students have the power to make that a footnote if they keep showing up in full force the way they have this season. There seemed to be some apathy growing over the past few years and I love seeing them fired up again.
Really, why is that? Not that I disagree, just wondering.
There def seems to be a different feeling this year than any year prior (I'm a jr)

I agree. I'm a senior, graduating this December, this year just feels different. It seems like a lot of the students are more pumped up about the games. I wish we would sell out every game but with the way the economy is and how high the prices are is doesn't surprise me that it's not as full. However, a guy I know got 3 tickets to the VT Duke game and it cost him over 600 bucks.
I hate these stupid things. Only cool when everybody does it.
I didn't realize we hadn't beaten a ranked team at home since 2008, yikes...
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Maybe because I'm not looking at it, it doesn't seem as powerful.
True. Crowd feels much more electric this year than the past two I've been here.
Well i always where white anyway, except for the blue outs, so i'm in.
I agree, but whiteouts really only work at night. During the day the overall impact just isn't as great.
Just like the contrast, separates the student section which I think is a good thing. Plus it's easier to get the students to buy in and pull it off than the entire stadium.
