You are starting to see some programs that had some modest success over the years, Iowa and Michigan State, possibly falling back. I wonder about Michigan. After that great year last year, they were very average this year and that was a veteran team. Nebraska loses quite a bit on that defense. Then again, that maybe a blessing.
Doubt the Big Ten cares. In fact, I'd bet they were hoping for a close Nebraska loss - that way, better chance that they get two teams into BCS games. Probably not the case with the blowout loss.
Big Ten cares only about money and getting more of it. They would probably get more money with reduced PSU sanctions, but they would get more money with zero PSU sanctions and they didn't stick up for us one whit originally. They aren't going to change their stance now.
OSU will win it every year for the next four years, and Urbz will have them in the NC in that time. B1G could care less about PSU.
Nebraska was 12th in the BCS going into the game so there was no way for them to get a BCS birth with a loss. Wisconsin will be ranked below the mid-majors which will give them an auto bid as well. The SEC, Big 12, and Pac 12 all have better 2nd (and 3rd) place teams to put into a BCS game.
You contradicted yourself in this post.
The B1G is to fvcking stupid to realize the position they put themselves in. The rest of the nation is saying that this conference is shit, and adding Rutgers and Maryland does nothing to help that perception.
Delamey and the B1G can suck a big fat...
F the NCAA
F the BOT
PENN STATE FOREVER
Guess I did. Should have clarified that athletically they'll lose money, but they might see it differently in terms of how public perception translates to $$ (not sure how much it does, but maybe the Big Ten doesn't just care about money, public perception too).
God, Delaney looks so depressed. You can tell he wanted Neb to win
Wisky, 539 RUSHING yards, unreal, on 50 carries, 10.8 yds per carry, wow. That's a stout line and a porous D.
Don't you all love the storyline of Wisconsin going to their 3rd straight Rose Bowl?
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Props to Mr Roof and our defense for shutting them down. Really makes that game that much more impressive.
I'm still wondering how we lost control of that Nebraska game....
