No question in my mind, he is the "anointed" one.
ZZ reminded me of Tony Hunt on Saturday. Very fun to watch.
Not Seltz , but I say run the Ginger until they cry coach. If fact I'm not as nice as OB I would have kept him in there until they had no health defenders.
I would def'ly start ZZ. He is just a beast when running through tackles. He can easily take 2-3 guys on him and get 3-4 extra yards. He and BB make a good team.
To me it does not matter who starts it matters who we finish with,
I think ZZ earned the starting nod this week but I'd still like to see a healthy rotation at RB to keep guys fresh and also wouldn't mind seeing Belton in on 3rd downs.
Dominate The State
This I agree with. Belton can do things that ZZ can't. let them chase billy around and then bring in the closer with weakened legs.
Start Belton, ZZ and Zordich and give NW and triple option look.

Doesn't make a difference to me. I really like that we have a great mix of backs right now. Each seems to bring something different to the table. I can see why BOB wanted to redshirt Lynch, though I am still nervous about keeping him during this next year.

start belton. keeps them on their heals, just like white_out said.
then you bring in the BOOM STICK.
I start ZZ and have Zordich as the primary backup...use Belton in a situation role
I don't see Belton being unseated that easily. The coaches have seen how well ZZ is running. I'd be willing to bet that Belton is still ahead of him in other areas (receiving, blocking) - JMO. ZZ has certainly earned himself a relatively big role, though.
I start with Belton and Day on the East/West game. Run them horizontally a lot in the first and early third. ZZ gets 90% of the carries in the 2d half running North/South. Keep him fresh for when NW is tired and he'll shred a small team like that.
Belton scares me every time he runs with how he holds the ball. I don't trust him running in critical situations because of that. It won't even take a big hit to knock the ball out, just a well placed swipe at his arm. I like his running ability and if he could fix that, I think he can be real good.
I'd give them a heavy dose of the Ginger Hammer and see if we can break the will of their defense like we did to Illinois. Bring in Belton as a change of pace and as an added element in the passing game,
We can't forget he's got to try and keep everyone happy due to the spring free agency. Wonder if the Illini will be sniffing around again? my guess is no
I think Belton will get better, remember he wasn't a RB until this year. He still has some stuff to iron out. I mostly want to see ZZ and Zordich because I think Belton isn't 100 percent yet. However, his ability to catch the ball and the staff trust in his blocking (like bills said) makes him important in situational football.
If we want to pound from the start of the game, ZZ should start. If we want to throw, I would start Belton because he brings better versatility. If we want to go Nascar from the start, ZZ Pop is the guy. You would think Belton would be the better option with the Nascar set but atter Saturday Zwinak is the guy.
Belton needs to hang onto the ball dropped a few passes. The one he missed inside the Illini five yd line was not a great Pass but he needs to grab that. With that being said, McGloin had probably the worst game of the year passing
