Well right now for the 2014 Team we have 57 allocated schollies as it stands (no Cothren). That includes Allen committed. If we pick up another guy this year, we go to 58 and thus have one less schollie for next year's class.
I get that an my point still remains valid there is not a lot of value to saving scholarships this year as if you are only going to take 8-10 next year you have five right there at least.
And if we take those guys this year then we have even less spots than those 8-10 to take next year because those kids WILL STILL BE HERE.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Not the point...everyone keeps saying we should bank these ships as they are so important...if there is no one worth taking then do not use them...but it is not going to be the make all break all as you will have more than ample room starting this year for EE if you need to get to 65 homie....
The point is what's left in 2013 isn't much. There are tons of kids interested with tons of talent in 2014. Makes more sense to save it for an already tiny (8 slots as of right now) class. Now a few kids may leave... But we would still be under 15 lol It just makes a lot of sense to pocket them, especially if no one is of the talent level we want.
