Went to LSU @ UF this year for my first time in the Swamp -- it's as good as advertised.
If Tennessee can turn it around and be a powerhouse I would pick them since they used to be our big game when our program was gaining national recognition. Ga and FL have annual rivalries so they would be less inclined to pick up another BCS non conference foe. Someone has to stand up to these SEC teams though, so I would rather schedule an SEC team than the ACC because they are so weak right now. WVU would be intense as hell since they treat away fans like s%^& and we would instantly hate them. Every WVU fan I have ever met is so stupid and thinks WVU is so great I would love to destroy them. 1) Tennessee (if they get good) 2) WVU 3) LSU (New Orleans baby!)
Oh hell yeah. I'll do my part. I'll drive to South Bend and "give the finger" to Touchdown Jesus, just to "cast the first stone" if that's what it takes!!!
That is my name on their tops and no one can tell me any different!!!!
Florida hasn't played a regular season non-con opponent outside the state of FL since like 1983. They are cowards. Good luck with that...
Clemson - The two only ever met once and the Tigers won. Would love to play in Death Valley. Plus both teams usually finish similarly in their respective conferences.
October 12, 2013. PSU 43 - UM 40 (4 OT). Unfortunately this fan wasn't around long enough to see it!
Texas A&M right now----Johnny football reason
LSU/BAMA ---long term rotating series with them because they always field good teams.
Clemson---because they claim to be penn state of the south
WVU - old rivalry, close by, major name with national profile, and unlike Pitt they're actually pretty good most years
ND - great, great shared history, massive exposure, despise Brian Kelly and would love to see Obie whip him.
Va Tech - similar to WVU, without the rivalry. Also consistently over-ranked so would be good to prove that
UGA - great fan base, southern exposure for PSU, great road trip to Athens, and there's a shared history to build on
Texas - great school with a national profile, Austin is awesome, would be a great match-up of two traditional CFB "elites" that don't have much recent history
1. LSU or Bama (SEC)
2. USC or Stanford (Pac)
3. Notre Dame or Texas (Other)
Cupcakes only because wins will be more important than who they are against till the sanctions are over.

ND because of the great games we've had in the past. tWo storied programs rich in history on and off the field. Plenty of ND and PSU fans all across the globe, especially here in PA.

And I will add one just because I am a guy and want to see beautiful Southern Belles.
Heard many stories about "The Grove". Please seat me right in the middle of the 4 below.
Agreed, but the schedules for the sanction years are pretty much set.
This is more of a long-term exercise.

Maryland-same reason as WV
Simon Fraser-No idea why
Other options-Old Dominion, East Carolina, Texas A&M, USC
Are you relaying our thoughts on this topic back to the Athletic Department?
I'd take the two girls to the right of them instead.
Hopefully they will play Stanford because I live in palo alto and you could sit 30 yard line for about $20
Clemson and Texas
They only problem with that is Florida hasn't played a non conference game outside the state of Florida since like 1935 (sarcasm, but it has been forever, I don't know the actual date)
I would love to see PSU play a home and home with Georgia especially since it seems the staff is gonna make that state one of the southern states they hit hard recruiting wise
What, you're saying Joyner doesn't religiously read our board?
One low level regional game: Syracuse, Pitt, BC, WVU, Temple
One academy game: Navy, Air Force, Army
And then alternate between national series (home and homes with Bama, ND, VPI etc) and then a year or two with another cupcake.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
WVA, V Tech, Syracuse, Boston College, NC - all games that could be driven to for a weekend.
Alabama - the fans have mutual respect for each other and could be a good rivalry game, especially with both coaches having worked for Bill Belichick one on the offensive side the other on defense.
Tennessee - would love to play there the same year we play at Michigan and at Ohio State so we could play in the top 4 largest stadiums in the country in the same year.
For me, someone different:
1. Boise State - would love to play them. High scoring.
2. Oklahoma or Texas - Traditional programs, good atmospheres
3. Arizona State - (my brother lives there!)
Just my 2 cents.
1) Tennessee - my wife's family is full of Vols fans
2) Notre Dame - hate 'em

I wouldn't kick any of them out of bed for eating crackers........except for the one in the second row, in the middle, with the red thing across her nose. She looks too much like Troy Polamalu....LOL.
