So Pitt DC Dave Huxtable left to be DC at NCState. Does anybody on this board think TB ends up being DC at Pitt? I say no but interesting to think about.
Paul Zeise of the Post-Gazette seems to think that ship has sailed. I don't think the Pitt admin wants anything to do with Tom Bradley. Before they hired Chryst the Rooneys actually recommended Bradley and Pitt decided not to hire him.

Dominate The State
I hope Tom gets a coaching job, but not there. It would take some of the enjoyment out of a Pitt loss for me.
Bradley is radioactive, and won't likely be pegged for any highly visible position in college. Too much baggage fair or not. He should stay in the NFL with the Steelers.
Everytime a coaching position within a 500 mile radius of State College opens up or is rumored to open up are we going to start a thread about Bradley?

nope. guilt by assiciation. too toxic.
its a shame too. good man, good coach
No way, I don't think he has much faith in the administrative staff there nor do I think that is where he would choose out of respect for Penn St. No chance...IMHO
Does this spell Cryst to Wisky a little bolder? Pitt DC job has to be higher profile than the SDSU job.

Scrap, toxic? Really? I would clearlt say big red is toxic and will never wwork in football again, but i think scrap's name stayed out of limelight of negativity enough to get a gig. Plus he cranked out top def's for a lllooonnnnggggg time.
Dude..... He was close to getting a few jobs and each time it was nixed at a higher level... he was also named in the trial as seeing JS with kids in the shower (not a sexual act just showering but still) so he has ZERO shot at a job IMO....
PENN STATE FOREVER
Scrap may ot be dirty with sanduskey stuff but he is dirty on some other things surrounding psu football.
To me that shows he will get a job. He never saw anything. He not implicated in the supposed cover up. He was already close to jobs and that was in the midst of the psu hate venom in media. That is subsiding already.
low level job sure.... nothing that matters.... way too easy for someone to throw him under the bus and make a program look like they hired an enabler. He has a radio job... stay there and dont make a poor move... plus he sold PSU players after the sanctions hit so he can go to hell
Regarding Bradley, he strikes me as a guy who is glad to be away from the spotlights.
If Tom ever coaches again, it'll be as a position coach in the pros.
I hope Mike McQueary gets his $4 Million+ and that Spanier, Curley and Schultz rot in jail while Cynthia Baldwin loses her license to practice and pays a hefty sum.
You realize that McQueary is a lying tool right?
WE ARE! And we will always be...
I hope Mike McQueary gets nothing but grief the rest of his life. Guy is enemy number 2 in this entire ordeal besides Sandusky. Check the testimony from all he told his story to the night it actually happened and then check what he told the grand jury. Might notice they are 2 completely different stories.
Their AD has made it perfectly clear that he will never hire Bradley under any circumstances. Its unfortunate, because he would be a HUGE upgrade over what Hux was and is.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
MM is the reason we are here...If you really think you are witnessing a child rape ...you don't wait until the next day to go to your boss. Coward! He should have picked up the phone and called the police...end of story. $ 4 MM ...my ass. I hope he gets zilch.
I'm with you, yet was downvoted...
More reasons then just sanduskey why temple, Pitt and others are staying away from scrap and it has nothing to do with him trying to get players to leave psu although he did that as well.
Pitt's AD has single handedly driven that program down to the depths of mediocrity & I love it

You can't lay that bombshell on us and not give any details?
He's been credited with giving the Cornhusker's Bill Callahan, Pitt that Heyman guy who got arrested and Todd Graham.
Nebraska fans hate him. Loathe him is probably more appropriate for the NU fan I worked with this summer, but he may have been more extreme than others.
EDIT: He's also an NU alum IIRC, and they still hate him.

That's the first I've heard that he tried to get players to leave. What else did he do?
