Just as a heads up for those who care, Phil Davis takes on Vinny Magalhaes later tonight on the Jones/Sonnen card.
Aprox. time of Davis fight?
"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
Second fight of the main card, which starts at 10. Depending on how the first fight ends, it could be anywhere between 10:10 to 10:45. Most likely around 10:30 give or take a few minutes if the first fight goes to decision.
Is this on normal TV?
Healy/MIller just ended, so the Davis fight will be in a few minutes.
And that first fight was awesome. Great start to the PPV.
Phil won round 1, really striking well.
Davis dominated. Really great striking display.
So davis won? Tko?

Unanimous decision win for Davis.
Diaz-like fight for him. Totally battered the guy with better boxing and a real sharp jab and a high volume of punches. He's starting to look like a mixed martial artist.
Really is. If he can continue to keep improving as a striker with his wrestling background he is going to be very dangerous.
We should get a better idea of where he stands in the division after we see how Jon Jones' wrestling defense is. Davis doesn't have the MMA wrestling that Chael does, but Chael is probably one or two in the world in that department right now along with GSP.
If Jones shows that he struggles with a strong wrestler, Davis could pose a problem with his takedowns and submission game.
GSP easily best wrestler in MMA, but Chael is certainly up there.
I don't give Chael really any chance or anyone really a chance to beat Bones, but if Phil can end up getting a fight with him and be one of the better guys in the division that would be awesome.
I don't think GSP is that clear cut above the rest. It's clear that he and Chael are head and shoulders above the rest though. Which is kind of funny when you think about their backgrounds. One is a decorated wrestler in both folkstyle and greco. The other a french canadian karate guy. Pretty crazy.
And how about that Roy Nelson? That dude is ridiculous on so many levels.
That was nuts.
As much as I know Roy deserves another high level fight next, I would seriously do some horrible things to get a Nelson/Hunt fight signed.

Some guys have "it." Nelson, Carwin, Hunt. Those guys could probably knock out a horse with a single punch.
In my opinion GSP is even a step above Chael. I mean he has a 75% takedown percentage whereas Chael's takedown percentage is 59%. GSP can take anyone down anytime he wants and there is nothing anyone can do about it. If Chael can take Bones down tonight a few times though that will be very impressive.
Nelson is amazing to me, guy doesn't look like an MMA fighter at all, but knocks everyone he fights out for the most part.
GSP has also spent his career fighting guys half his size.
Nelson is the definition of "gatekeeper." He's far better than all the guys outside of the top ten, but gets completely outclassed and embarrassed by the guys above him. Kinda tough to be in that position.
I love watching a guy with the body tone of an oil slick kick ass like that.
I think Jones ends this one early
Way too early by the ref to call that one, but the outcome was going to be the same at some point. The size difference between the two was way too much for someone with Chael's limited skill set to overcome.
Well that was quick and easy
It's looking like Chael might be a man without a country. The cut to 185 is too much, and the guys at 205 are too big. I hope he figures something out because he's fantastic for the sport.
There isn't much in combat sports that annoys me more than fighters who duck fights, and Sonnen is one of the few who is ready and willing to fight anyone at anytime.
Yea he's a character, really interesting guy. I think he's probably done though, he isn't getting another title shot anytime soon.
