A review of Nelson...
Jamie Oakes said...
No. He didn't disappear. And I liked what I've seen from Nelson this week. Yesterday, Nelson and Jones-Smith split time at right tackle with first team opposite Marcell Lazard. Today, it's was Jaryd Jones-Smith that played right tackle with the first unit.
And I still think Nelson outperformed Jones-Smith. Penn State landed a good one.
Washington, D.C. - The North and South teams are set for Saturdays Chesapeake Bowl. After two days of practice, here are the top performers heading into the game.
I still really wish Al Benton was part of this class.
Delando Johnson was mentioned a good bit, but no big schools after him.....
I am assuming there is no chance of getting him as a run-on? Cause that would be a steal.
I think he committed to Toledo.
Tanner Hartman was supposed to play in the Chesapeake Bowl. Any reason he isn't participating?
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
It looks like Tyler Boyd is playing in Army All American Bowl - i was hoping it was the Under Armour one so Hack could get in his ear. Hopefully Sickels and Mahon will be in Boyd's ear somewhat.
According to Jamie Oakes, Cothran had a sack and Brandon Bell recovered a fumble in the Chesapeake bowl game
Some comments being made about the Under Armour practices on the Blue Board. Gerry Hamilton says Hack is impressive physically, all of 6'4 210.
Here is day one Under Armour Bowl coverage.

Lavar Arrington is coaching the linebackers in the Under Armour Game.
Army Updates - Day one.
Not exactly the guy I would want teaching young LBs. Not everyone has your skill set Lavar.
Just because he didn't do what he was told doesn't mean he doesn't understand what to do. Lavar is a smart guy. I could see him being a very good LB coach. Have always wanted to see he and Engram roaming the PSU sidelines.
Chris Nee: Hackenberg spinning it well.
After the things he had to say I don't want him anywhere near Penn State. My comment was more of a funny about how he never listened to a single coach he had.
GMAB. Lavar loves PSU as much as any former player out there. He gets incredibly emotional--it's what I like about him, and what could make him a heck of a coach.
I wonder if he followed through.

give it a rest, keep the thread on topic please.
For those not checking the Blue Board, LCL asked: "How is Hack looking today?"
Gerry Hamilton replied: "Most talented QB out here."
Tom Loy also added this post:
"Love the kid's motion and release, but struggles with accuracy at times.
I was on the sidelines for a game earlier this year. Kid is a good leader and very vocal.
Kept getting on his OL for their struggles, but did it in a good way and was motivating.
....and that was a really bad OL he had this year."
The thread was my idea smartass. Ill discuss things that come up within it, regardless of your comments. I thought maybe the poster was unaware of what I was referring to.
Thanks bills, please keep us updated for those that are not following that thread.
