I am as excited as everyone about the first 3 commitments that PSU has pulled in thus far. I guess I just don't know enough about everything but if any can enroll early what will they count as?
My other basic question/comment was about the process thus far. We all know that BOB wants like heck to own PA. He has made so many connections in his shirt time and really, hopefully maybe mending some fences of some people that the past staff may have rubbed the wrong way or whatever. I guess I just want to know when the PA recuits, the high ranked PA recruits will start to fall in line like dominos or if anyone thinks that will even happen. AB is great but that kid was pretty much PSU even if they would have dropped to D-3.
I really think it could have happened if Dorian Johnson wouldn't have skated. But I don't know.
Just my thoughts.

For example will will ever see a class with an AB, a Dorian, a McGlinchy, A fuller, and a Williams all coming?
I think it is definitely feasible. BOB is clearly a charismatic guy, and has won over a lot of the high school coaches he has spoken to (at least the ones that have gone on record express this opinion). The fact that we just had Aliquippa come visit is a big enough achievement to say that we are on our way. Show me a season with no schollie limits, and I think we could have done it, and will do it.
"PSU a 3 to 4 win team" - New-era, September 2012
Who cares, the staff is getting the top at their positions right now.
Also, VA and MD are better than PA right now.

No, you wont see that because Pa kids are loving ND now. Especially, kids from the Philly area,
I take out McGlinchy as I didnt like him as much, put in Nelson, add Boyd, and without sactions I think we absolutely could have done it. Issah and Cothran should be up there as well. I think Anzalone, Williams, and Boyd would have been tough, but we had solid shots at all. So last year minus sanctions I think we easily dominate the majority of in-state talent.
Anywho, I dont care most years if you are going by rankings, as I rarely agree with the order(rankings are subjective after all). For Example, 2010 was another year we had a damn fine run in PA. I think I felt about 7(maybe 8) of the top 10 as I didnt think Cullen Christian deserved in that top 10. Lost Floyd who I put at the top few easily and also Corey Brown who I had towards the bottom of the top 10.

Suck It Emmert!! and "Sorry for not being sorry for being a Penn Stater" - Philafan
We get Williams and DJ easily with no sanctions…maybe Boyd…maybe.
His mother was quoted as saying that he likely winds up here with no sanctions.
Hmm...Lets look at NDs 2013 class:
1. Mike McGlinchey - We had a good shot if he wasnt pressured to commit to ND...He was basically told a lie by Kelly, but to be expected.
2. Will Fuller - 100% PSU if it werent for sanctions.
Name all these PA kids loving ND.
"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
Not just Pa but eastern unites states in general the kids love ND. Look at their stud recruiting classes. They get kids from nc, sc, pa, nj, ny, florida, tennessee etc etc. I am not naming their entire roster. ND is incredibly popular in the Philly burbs.
So now you change the argument to "not just PA." Convenient.
ND always has, and always will recruit nationally. Nothing new. You should know this, domer.
Ive looked at their highly rated recruiting classes for years upon years.....and have yet to see any consistency with that equating to them having stud classes. Big difference.
ND has been popular pretty much forever, nothing different now. So you are left where you started, zero real input to a conversation.
