Zz i would put the over under at 1000 and i would take the over. The way he ran the last four games last year proved how tough to tackle he is.
People forget how much of a pain in the ass ZZ is to tackle, especially in the 4th quarter.
I look for a physical line, smash mouth running, with Lynch and Belton mixed in for good measure.
ZZ will not be tackled with his back hitting the ground very many times, especially late in games. More time with Fitz did not hurt either, as he is pretty jacked right now. We potentially could have the most dominant RB and WR in the big 10 this year. That is before you mention all of our TE and good OL.
Going to be a fun year on offense, even with a new QB.
Big physical runner gets harder to tackle when linebackers have to worry about covering talented tight ends imo
Over he will get 10.5
PENN STATE FOREVER
Oh, don't get me wrong - I love ZZ !! I just feel like the others here...that a healthy Belton and a potential real good back in Lynch just spreads the running attack out more. Without Lynch in the mix, I would definitely agree with you!
Zwinak is not going to get as many touches as he got last year, IMO. He might have missed a couple games, but he was pretty much our only RB for the rest of the season. He'll probably go over 820, but closing in on 1500 is way too high, IMO.
Under for Barnes, I'm thinking about 7-8 sacks.
I think ZZ gets his thousand with Lynch and Belton getting around 800+. I think Lynch is going to be a stud in due time.
Agree with bills, I think Barnes is in 7-8 range. However, we are playing a lot of teams this year we should beat. If we are playing ahead, his count may inflate with the other team playing more in passing mode if behind. Would like to see 7-8 good sacks in close games at key times versus 10-12 if half will not change the game or comes in garbage time.
I guess I feel like ZZ will be closer to 1500 than 820... Just imo but hell i think the defense could be pretty good (if healthy, on par or better than last year) so my opinion only counts for so much haha
I will take the over..... 100,500 average. And starting the season off at 5-0 will certainly help !!
I say over-- to the tune of about 1200-1500yds. He put up 1000 in only 4 starts last year. We have a solid line and we have a lot of weapons on O. If our QB is decent, he'll put up closer to the 1400-1500 number, if below average, then he puts up 1100-1200 yds. ZZ is a beast and faster than most think.

I'm assuming you mean Lynch and Belton getting 800+ yards combined, correct? It would be crazy to think they would both get 800 plus ZZ getting 1000. I don't think ZZ gets his 1000, but comes close.
Depending how much help he gets from the rest of the defensive line is the key IMO if Deion Barnes will get over 8.5. I think Zettel will be an absolute beast on the other end. And I think the combo of Johnson, Jones, Dowrey and Baublitz at DT will be better than last years rotation. So because of that, I'm going to go over with 9.5 sacks. Deion will hit the national spotlight this year.
And I will go over with attendance and say we average slightly over 100K mainly due to a good start.
Yes, I was referring to combined yards for Lynch and Belton. I also think Johnson is going to come out of nowhere and be a dominant DL for us this year.
We'll pose this one as a combo....
Kyle Carter.......50 receptions, 600 yards, 5 TD's
Over or Under
Glenn Carson..........100 tackles
Over or Under ?
Under but he gets really close ... high 90's imo
All depends how well the bigunns perform.
But Lynch is pretty talented. If he emerges as a legitimate second option, they'll likely cycle out RBs to reduce the risk of injury.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Not to mention what our defense does affects the offense. If we can't force some stops this year and play from behind more, we'll run less. All depends on a lot of factors.
Do Sanctions get lifted befor or after Aug 15? I'm taking the under.
Of what year? 2013, WAAAAAAAYYYY OVER
Ha, beat me to it. Although, I would be ecstatic to be wrong.
For this one I am going slightly over. 55/625/6
Absolutely! This isn't a likely scenario in the first 5 games, but the latter part of the schedule will be the true test.
