For as bad as USC has played this season, they'll beat ND.
Is it sad that I'm clinging to this for hope?
IMO KSU should get a shot. They are better than ND, although ND's SOS is extremely impressive despite some teams on there being disappointments.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Georgia Tech scored 68 against UNC. Ouch.
UNC blows. A couple NFL caliber players, but the rest of the team is pathetic. Fedora is a solid coach, but these are still Davis' guys.
I'm flipping back and forth between BC ND and Oregon Cal. What about y'all?
Southwest Texas State .... errr.... Texas State is hanging with La. Tech. I wish I was at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos right now watching with the lovely ladies that go to school there.
San Marcos is pretty gross, and so are the women. Nice to look at, but I'd advise against touching those petri dishes if you catch my drift.
While their football team is the spawn of the devil, the Longhorns have quite a few good looking ladies walking around there. Not a bad view for a weekend game, as long as you don't watch whatever is going on down on the field.
While I know all about the ladies in Austin, the chicks at SWT when I worked there for two years were fabulous. San Marcos is a pretty cool town actually. It was always nice to go get the daily mail at work because I had to walk the hallway and looked outside at the ladies in swim suits along the river. Those were the days. The chicks have obviously changed a bit since my days in San Marvelous.
San Marcos is a huge party town, and floating the river was a hell of a lot of fun.
Didn't realize it was SWT, that's how young I am. Well FWIW the doors are always open to go back.
WOW, good lord that BC QB is braindead. Holy hell. Damn, changed the channel for a minute or two, came back and Oregon scored. I swear that they're determined to march 80 yards down the field on three plays and score an incredible TD ONLY when I'm not watching them. Nice catch by the Cal receiver there.
UNC is one of the all-time underachievers. There is alot of talent on that roster, but whoever coaches there always seems to screw it up.
I like Fedora.
I always thought there was an attitude problem under Butch, because I always thought Butch had an attitude problem. It sounds strange, but IMO when you have guys like Lane Kiffen or Butch Davis or Pete Carroll that only care about wins and losses and don't care whether or not they go about it in a legal way, the players start to follow suit. I don't believe that Butch knew about the class, but if he did know I doubt he would have minded. The players see that their coach has no regard for adherance to rules, so they don't see the need to adhere to whatever rules are given to them. JMO obviously.
That's why I believe we have so many high character guys in the PSU family, because we had coaches who cared about the way things were done.
^^^^ My homer post of the day ^^^^
Cal-Oregon getting chippy. Don't like the flag on Cal, but am hoping I see LeGarrette Blount come out of nowhere and clock some Cal kid.
But Bama isn't undefeated, they lost.
I'm saying Bama would have no problems with ND's schedule, while ND - even though is undefeated, it has problems with its schedule. There are 20 teams that are behind ND that would truck them on any given day.
But they aren't playing ND's schedule.
Oregon game could get interesting ... Barner and mariota are injured and Oregon lost their starting safety. Same game, but does Khari Fortt even play for Cal?
Ucla is starting to pull away
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
Barner came back IIRC. Mariota would be interesting though. Cal has done a great job defensively this game.
Come on, I couldn't not respond with that. You had to have known that.
I did, but I wanted to freak out emote-style.
Cal has a chance here, but they have to convert.
EDIT: Annddddddd, they throw a pick. Right on cue. That games over.
Not a terribly exciting slate of games today, and the only other really good one was at the same time as our game so I didn't get a chance to watch it. One of those weekends I guess.
