Enjoyed PSUfan28's thread so thought we could run with it again

Interesting Stat Line: Miller held to under 200 yds total offense
Off the Wall Prediction: ARob grabs 9 for 150 yards and 2 TD's, Hodges - Sack and INT
Score: PSU 28 - 24
MVP: Kyle Carter
Interesting Stat Line: PSU Tight Ends end up with 15 catches
Off the wall prediction: PSU has 2 running backs that both out rush Hyde
Interesting Stat line:Penn State wins the turnover battle 4-0
Off the wall predication: Ficken in 2/2on FGs
“Never trust a government that doesn't trust its own citizens with guns.”
Score: 38-31 OSU (really hope I'm wrong)
MVP: Devin Smith
Interesting Stat line: OSU gets 14 points off of turnovers.
Off the wall prediction: Neither team records a sack
Score: PSU 24-23 (I'm going to sip the kool-aid)
Interesting Stat Line: OSU 10-7 at the half (no first quarter points by either team)
Off the wall prediction: The PSU field goal comes in the fourth quarter with the game in the balance.
What the heck, even I'm drinking the kool-aid
MVP: Allen Robinson (6 Receptions 137 yards and 2TDs)
Interesting Stat Line: Ficken goes 2-2 for FGs and both are over 35+ yards out
Off the Wall Prediction: McGloin gets flagged after doing a discount double check
Why would a one-point PSU victory be sipping the kool-aid exactly?
Because I've predicted a win every single game this year and I predicted a 7-5 record. I should have said continuing to, but honestly on a week by week basis PSU really should win every game. I could see this game going every which way.
I'll show you sipping the kool-aid..heck I'm bathing in it!
MVP: Belton (100+ rushing, 50+ recieving, 3Td's)
Interesting Stat Line: Miller is sacked 6 times
Off the Wall prediction: Belton takes one 50+ yards to the house
....i really like this matchup....on both sides of the ball.....our short passing game/te's(for the most part) against their linebackers and their inability to throw deep balls with consistency (lack of pocket passer). I think our D is exactly what you need to contain meyer's offense

Score: 38-24 PSU
MVP: O: MM, D: Hodges
Interesting Stat Line: BMF has his first 100+ yd game.
Off the Wall Prediction: OSU has 3-5 40+ yard plays, and totals less than 100 yards otherwise.
I wish I could say that, but I just feel like this will be a typical defensive battle until it starts to open up at the end of the game. On the other hand, this is a completely different staff and this game could play completely different than the last few years.
MVP: Belton (3 TDs - 1 passing, 1 rushing, 1 receiving)
ISL: OSU has less than 100 yds passing, but a lot (200+) rushing, with a few BS Miller runs.
OWP: See my MVP stat line. If that doesn't count, then I say PSU plays two complete halves, rather than the typical "great first half, then crap" they've been doing against OSU.

This is not your Joe Pa's offense. There will be no punting inside the 35...you will not see a ton of fullback dives and bubble screens. The first series will not be run, run, pass, punt.
This is basketball on grass. It's what Joe Paterno vowed would never return per his SI Interview following the Rosebowl.
Embrace the new era
"One man didn't build this program and one man sure as hell cannot tear it down."
OSU has yet to really keep anyone off the board so I'm not seeing that at all. I'll be shocked if that is the case.
Score: PSU 24-16
Interesting Stat Line: McGloin less than 220 yards passing PSU rushing attack dominates TOP
Off the wall prediction: OSU gets inside the redzone 5 times ends up with TO, 3fgs and a touchdown
"Leadership is to be both a speaker of words and a doer of deeds"
WE ARE and ALWAYS will be...... RIP JVP
MVP = Red Bull Zwinak 4 TD's
ISL: we don't punt.
OTWP: Urbs checks himself into Centre Community at halftime.
Penn State: 40
Ohio State: 24
MVP (D): Deion Barnes (forced fumble in the endzone on a sack, among other things, Mauti scoops it up for a TD, Beaver Stadium breaks sound barrier)
MVP (O): Lehman (6 receptions, 69 yards, 2 TDs)
Interesing Stat Line: We lead 28-3 going into HT, OSU scores 21 unanswered in the 3rd QTR, but we shut them out in the 4th.
Off the wall prediction: Bill O'Brien doesn't Urban to suck it at the end of the game.
But I will...
SUCK IT, URBAN!!!!!
In the FWIW category, Phil Steele's prediction:
Ohio State 31
Penn State 20
Says Miller is the "X-Factor" that we have yet to face this year.
F the NCAA
F the BOT
Phil Steele has historically predicted our results rather optimistically compared to other "analysts."
He's either not a fan or Bill O'Brien, or not (yet) convinced. I hope he's wrong!
FWIW, Phil Steele didn't think we could beat Iowa last week and Iowa didn't even belong on the same field.
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
After an interesting exchange with one of his employees, I was told that Phil largely bases his picks off of his preseason predictions. This opposed to re-evaluating how teams are playing during the season.
The guy seems to have a successful business, but this strategy doesn't seem to be the most accurate.
You guys will win IMO.
From the Cleveland Plain Dealer. I particularly like his comments about the Virginia game...
Penn State was headed into the abyss after the first two weeks of the season. How have the Lions rebounded to where they are unbeaten in the B1G's Leaders Division?
