If winning was easy even losers would do it.

You don't even need to read either report to know which one is more valid, you have multiple extremely credible people making one claim, and another who is a guy and his team that try to make subjective statements appear credible because he was a former FBI director. Is there an opinion or assertion outside of Freeh in that report? Lot's of very credible people sticking their heads out for Paterno, but your right it doesn't mean anything because the majority of America, who is f'ing stupid, won't be swayed. Any facts that will clear Joe's name are probably, if they exist, hold as evidence in an upcoming trial. So if that's what you were looking for and feel disappointed, sorry. But don't let those emotions get the better of you and try for the name of logic and reason think of this objectively, because that's what Paterno's report is at face value.
Dominate The State
I said this a long time ago and you all bashed me, but I'll say it again.. The Paterno's need to go away. They aren't making anything better. They are completely unsympathetic to the public, and nothing they can say or do will make things better.
I do public perception research, particularly affective imagery research, and I can tell you that when a national audience sees or hears the name "Paterno", they experience a negative association that makes it impossible for them to respond logically. They will just say that the Paterno's are self serving, only care about Joe, love football too much, etc. The narrative is already in place, and only someone or some group that doesn't have a strong valence association for the public can change that.
Short of providing real evidence, they are just opening up old wounds for the public. Makes things worse.
