Just saw on Twitter that it looks like Buddy Brown will not be visiting this weekend.
any idea why? thats not good
Didn't say but if he doesn't visit we might as well just move on.
That has been redacted.

Ya I was just about to post it. He has a family reunion in Viriginia on Sunday, so that was the reason why his visit was in doubt.
New staff doesn't think as highly of Brown as the old regime imo and for good reason I think. I like other LB's better personally but definitely wouldn't be upset if he was in the class either.
I have definitely Anzalone ahead of him.
But who else do you have ahead of him? Admittedly, I am much more familiar with this year's class of DBs and DL than I am with the LBs.

Rolin and Kimbrough are 2 definites...I think I would take Issah over Brown too for the simple fact I think they are very similar players but I think Issah has more potential that I think Vandy could utilize.

Guess I am just missing something on Issah.
Yep. He;s from PA.
Not just that he's from PA. Look at his body and how he could fill out, to go with his athleticism and just natural instincts on the field....he's just a football player that happens to be really athletic. Brown, to me, is an athlete that happens to be good at football. For the record, Issah doesn't really impress me either on film other than his athleticism...it's more about potential with him.
I haven't seen a LB with a better frame to fill out than Brown. I also don't like Issah and the way he runs, granted a lot of that is on offense.
Is what it is.
I'll repeat what i've seen some other guys compare Brown to that I agree with...Bani Gbadyu
Actually who Issah sort of reminds me of. Eh to each their own.
yep...wouldn't be upset with either in this class. As you mentioned though, even if they were the same exact player just one was in harrisburg and the other NJ, I would just choose the Harrisburg one just for general perception anyways. It does seem to me that the staff has moved some other guys ahead of Brown though, I guess we'll see exactly this weekend when he comes to visit.
I don't know if we have offered or not but Deeb is a stud... I know. Pipe Dream. We offered his teammate today.
Kid actually went to another HS, if you are talking about the RB. I don't think we have offered Cogswell, who is Deeb's QB. I love Deeb, he is a one play offer for me, and I legit fear the guy after that first play. But we seem to have other guys higher on the board that can play more in the open as Deeb is a for sure in the box guy. I know we asked him to visit last week but he said he wouldn't until offered, so yeah.
thought they were on the same team ... I'm getting old the mind is going.
Schools both are named American Heritage.
That's what I thought. I went to HS in Ft. Lauderdale and in Plantation at that time I believe only had Plantation High. Makes me feel marginally better that I'm not losing it...too much.
Browns offer sheet and school interested >>>> Zayds.
FWIW, Foster's twitter profile picture is him in a PSU jersey.
Even if that's an overreaction that's still a good sign.
I wouldn't put much stock into it. Isn't Anzalone's picture of him with Meyer and all those rings?
That said, I'm becoming slightly optimistic with Foster. Even though we haven't actually heard anything from him, I feel like we have a better than zero chance (which is what I had thought before). Not a good chance, but better than I expected.
