@GSwaim: Nothing official yet, but hearing from an OKC media source who covers the #Sooners that OU will get #PSU WR Justin Brown.

USC, only 4 coaches? I would be insulted and move them out of consideration. And let me guess they flew commercial not private? Yet another slap in the face.
None of these kids leaving are that great ! Most if not all wouldn't even start at other big time programs it is just the fact that they old staff failed to land elte talent and failed to provide depth at various positions. Justin Brown is a slow wr who makes a fancy catch now and again certainly not an nfl player guaranteed!
He's gone, kid doesn't want to be here, its clear.
A Sr. Transferring is even dumber than a Jr. transferring.
Agreed. It makes absolutely no sense to me at all. The only thing I can think of is that he doesn't want to be associated with PSU.
Starting WR in a pro-style passing O as a senior. What else as far as an opportunity do you want to prove yourself to scouts?
This is his last year... Is he serious? Wow. Looks bad... I just hope it's not true and he stays. BOB just mentioned him in an interview of guys from the Philly area that have shown outstanding leadership... I hope Brown stays. Not from a football standpoint, because I think we have some young guys that are going to eat this year. But from a sheer perception and leadership standpoint... I hope he stays.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
And he already knows the playbook! If I'm an NFL scout, I'd seriously want him to stay his senior year. I mean cmon... Face adversity, how did you tell your teammates that you were with the last 3 years that you were out when the going got tough? The Steelers and similar other teams that value character certainly would ask that question...
Hate to say it but whenever there is smoke there is fire. So I am counting him as a no show on the 6th
I really don't think scouts will care. He could say "I wanted to win" and it would be fine.
Disagree but I can see some teams buying that...
Did Brown hang with Fortt or Redd?
What's with all these offensive players bailing on us? What are these opposing coaches telling these kids? Especially Brown, as a senior and another supposed "leader".
OU guys are saying its pretty much a done deal and one OU insider who is thought to be very credible said the team has already been notified he'll be at their practice next week. Good bye Mr. Brown
I'm sure he did, but I have no idea how close they were.
I hate to see him go and bail on our program, but he probably based his decision on one thing...
McGloin <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Landry Jones
I have one upvote left, and I am not afraid to use it!!!
WTH? Yeh Justin Brown really sucks.....
That definitely probably played a role, but he isn't going to start at OU, so really how many balls are going to be thrown his way?
PSU- 1st WR option. OU- 3rd WR option at best. Maybe it will work out for this year for the kid. But he really isn't a surefire NFL prospect to me. And if it doesn't happen for him, good luck with your much vaunted Oklahoma degree.

Don't care. Get Kersey to stay, and we bring back 9 starters on offense next year with adequate replacements at those positions. Brown is good, not great. He will help Oklahoma and we will simply have to rely on some less experienced players.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
Brown isn't a huge loss. Dumb of him to give up a PSU education for OK.
