There's no way of knowing how bad we could possibly be hit since details of these emails just came out recently.
"DOMINATE the state" - James Franklin 1/11/14
The NCAA rarely does what the public wants. There's a reason people are always upset with their rulings and think it's a terrible organization.
You watch, this one instance, they will finally do what the public wants.
If the NCAA wants to do anything then they have to do the whole department not just the football team.
Can the death penalty flow over to Sandusky if the PSU program gets it?
That'd be great. It should. I think anybody convicted of the disturbing acts he was convicted on should be on death row.
The death penalty only applies to programs that are repeat offenders of major violations for the same sport over a five year period. Even if the NCAA did decide to incredibly stretch the rules and say PSU is guilty if LOIC or something like that, they can't give Penn State the death penalty. It's completely outside of the rules. If they wanted to they wouldn't be following their own rules
I seriously doubt that will mean crap to them
PENN STATE FOREVER
IMO any punishment to the football program would be insanely ludicrous. The consequences that should be given are being handled by our legal system. To me punishing our athletic program for something that was handled poorly by our administration would be crap. How other than the fact that Sandusky and Joe were coaches does this pertain to any athletic violation. IMO, this was a decision they made in there personal life that they should suffer for legally.
It absolutely will. You're crazy if you think it will not. The people who decide these things are all lawyers and law professors. They do not approach things the same way the public does.
You have to be repeat offender for death penalty. I think our worst case would be what happened to USC.
We are not getting the death penalty guys.
1. Who is Stephanie Loh?
2. You can find "experts" who will say whatever you want them to say.
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
I believe she's one of the newer sports writers for PennLive regarding PSU and local high school sports.
I have a hunch once the Freeh report comes out we will be repeat offenders. The Sandusky crap aside, what worries me most is Spanier working with lawyers to reduce players' legal punishments. The NCAA will officially have jurisdiction then.
...and if you're not down with that, then I got 2 words for ya.."suck it!!"
I don't think one major series of incidents constitutes repeat offenders. The Sandusky is one situation...I think we would have to be reprimanded or on probation on the record and then mess up again.
For example the Ohio state situation: player 1 tattoos, player 2 tattoos, player 3 tattoos - while there are three "repeat offenses" the offenses are all part of a larger "incident" that doesn't make the repeat offenders.
Same should apply to us. I also wonder if PSU could sue for an injunction or some other legal principle of the NCAA gets trigger happy bc the death penalty is not applicable here, period.
LOL I can't wait to hear this shit...
Translation no I ain't giving some POS article citing "experts" by some new bimbo writer trying to make a name for herself any more clicks.

I hope you are right!
My liver needs to sue Sandusky because that guy and spanier drive me to drink lOl
Stop making sense. No one here can handle it.
Thought this was a Twitter thread. Getting excited to see something new and it's just rambling.
Agreed. No way we get the death penalty. I am just concerned with the NCAA conjuring up a reason to act. Everyone outside of us wants to see us get something. The NCAA has no place here to do ANYTHING. But that doesn't mean they wont. I don't want anything- no reduction in scholarships, no bowl ban for even a year, nothing. Our school needs our football program to have all the opportunity that it can to succeed and make money for us to right the ship. Money can help the healing- paying the victims a reasonable amount for what they went through (and are still going through), donating to organizations, preventing programs from being under-funded, prevent stunting expansions/renovations, not increasing tuition for students, etc. We need football from a financial standpoint. If you stunt it, you are hurting the university, not the football program. And the NCAA has no jurisdiction to punish the university for the crimes of individual employees.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Sorry. I said my one piece, and Im out. Twitter on...
