WE ARE! And we will always be...
Notte Dame just offered Michael Deeb
"Penn State has taken a lot of punches in the last six months and it's time to punch back" - BOB
This is going to get interesting. ND hasn't landed too many LBs over the past couple of years. Hopefully, having a couple months head start makes a difference.
I'm never the type to contact recruits but I just want to tell him "Don't fall for it! It's a trap!" ND has had so many good recruiting classes and hasn't done too much with them. Atleast they'll get a quality degree if they finish it out. I hope this kid will see the light and realize the opportunity he will have at PSU as a LB.
@CoryJames247: Recruit article coming tomorrow on @Lions247, one of my favorite recruit's to talk to in awhile.

"DOMINATE the state" - James Franklin 1/11/14
It's an interesting dynamic. If an OSU recruit gets an offer, they get all macho and say "who cares he's still an OSU lean." If a PSU recruit gets an offer from an OSU/ND type, people get very worried around here. Both extremes are off, but it's funny to watch both ways.
I'm not really worried about Deeb and ND as I am not as high on Deeb as some others on here, and I don't see NDs tradition as that great anymore. Bad thing is, these kids still buy into ND, but they still suck after having top 10-15 classes for many years now. He has had plenty of time to research PSU and its traditions and will now research NDs, hopefully he sees the PSU D as the the team he would like to make his collegiate career at.

Can't wait Cory!
You better put it up before I go to work tomorrow!

That's like saying someone shouldn't call the police if there's a crime being committed, because it's the job of the police to monitor it.
yes because a 16 year old kid making a comment in 140 characters or less equates to someone committing a crime.
I am done arguing about it in this thread as its for twitter comments. But if you are really equating the two ... then good luck to you ... i hope you are out there looking at every single kids tweets and reporting all violoations to the NCAA. Good luck trying to find the good ones between all of the prom tweets. Yes PROM ... kids going to prom ... some not going to prom until next year .... but lets freak out because they might be "bumping" into a coach somewhere, because that is definately the same as seeing someone breaking into a house.
For some reason, I'm just not that worried about ND and Deeb. I just think we're more established in terms of a relationship between him and our coaches/commits.
I agree Bills hes already mentioned loving our pedigree with linebackers and our style of play. South Florida (1st offer) and Miami (an offer he's waiting for) seem to be competition with us there to the end.
Miami would have me worried - about as worried as Georgia with Rankin (that one still bothers me, as I really wanted Rankin).
That seems to be the vibe I've gotten. AB and company are making their rounds as far as phone calls around to other commits and even uncommitted guys, letting them know what's up about PSU.
Blech. Miami. It seems like Deeb is higher on PSU than Rankin was on us though doesnt it? Deeb seems to go out of his way to mention us at every opportunity.
I didnt get that nasty feeling in my stomach when I heard ND offered him. I dont see him picking ND over us.
Deeb being higher on us doesn't mean he won't end up at Miami if they offer. He's visited Miami four times already. I think if Miami waits a lot longer (like until after he visits PSU), he's probably ours. But it's obvious he likes them a lot.
A Miami offer would change everything. Don't fool yourself into thinking otherwise.

I can't confirm nor deny the potential transfer leaving the program. Unsurprisingly, the info he intended to pass my way is incomplete.
"On paper they have nothing to play for– no bowl games, rankings, or championships– yet they play like they have everything on the line."
Evil Bill O'Brien is so good.
@CoryJames247: "C-Notes" are done, barring any late info I get. Fans will be really excited about the first bit of news.
Kameron Miles? Benton? One of those two would be my guess.

Kameron Miles is a good guess.
