I desperately looking for a good tv series to get into, whether old or new, I figured this would be a good thread to discuss any shows you watch and would like to share.
My problem is I've seen all of them so I can't find any other shows on tv. I've seen: All the HBO shows, the AMC ones: mad men, walking dead, all the NBC sitcoms, office, parks/rec, I've seen downton abbey, I've seen Boss etc.
We've been talking TV and such in there. Should be a good starting point.
- The Following (just started so not much to catch up on)
- Sons of Anarchy
- I just started The Americans but I've only seen the pilot. The rest are on the DVR for tonight so I can't vouch for this one yet.
"Penn State has taken a lot of punches in the last six months and it's time to punch back" - BOB
Did you ever watch prison break?
I remember that was one show all of the roomates got together and watched every week.
Currently, I'm enjoying The Walking Dead, Southland (personal fav), Workoholics, Modern Family, and Bones.
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
Two Broke Girls
"Leadership is to be both a speaker of words and a doer of deeds"
WE ARE and ALWAYS will be...... RIP JVP
Just started the Netflix original series House of Cards. Pretty awesome so far.
I agree with a lot of what has already been posted....
- Sons of Anarchy
- The Wire
-Game of Thrones
Hell on Wheels
Elementary - sometimes the twists are TOO crazy and sometimes they are too basic. However, I like deductive reasoning and the guy that plays Sherlock is fun.
The Following - still too early to make a decision. I like it so far and good twists.
American Horror Story - season one was very good; season two sucked through the first 5 or so episodes (waiting to watch the rest)
Waiting to watch on DVR:
Arrow - I really enjoy Archery and the story isn't bad.
Big Bang Theory

Get out more...
Or...more comedies like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia reruns, Ridiculousness, etc.

Breaking Bad is the GOAT. Also enjoy Game of Thrones and Lost
Suits (USA Thursdays at 10pm) is the best show on TV right now. It's really well written and the chemistry and timing of the main actors is second to none. If you could only pick one show to start watching from the beginning, I would recommend this one over all others (assuming you've seen all of the HBO Original Series, like you said).
Also for consideration: Do No Harm (started strong the last two weeks); go back and watch the one and only season of Awake on NBC; and I'm really enjoying Grimm--All of those are on NBC as it turns out.
Other things I DVR and enjoy: New Girl and White Collar (first three seasons available on DVD, middle of the 4th season now).
Oh, and obviously The League on FX (even if you have no interest in fantasy football). 2nd Best comedy on TV after Big Bang Theory.
Suck It Emmert!! and "Sorry for not being sorry for being a Penn Stater" - Philafan
The Walking Dead is my favorite right now........IMO the first season was the best but it's still very entertaining.
I really like Gold Rush and Bering Sea Gold as well.
Does the Ultimate Fighter count? Love the new format on FX, and that Uriah Hall KO was unreal.

Southland is great. 5th season just started last night. I don't watch a ton of TV but always manage to carve out an hour at 10 on Wednesday nights for it.
if you have netflix, go for house of cards. really good
I've been watching House of cards on netflix. Looks like ill have to start watching that kevin Bacon show on FOX
I think Revenge is pretty good. Was a little unsure at first, but my wife talked me into it and season 1 was great!
Yeah. My brother turned me on to it and I have not missed it since. Really good show!
I love criminal minds too, and Clemente is one of the main profilers the CBS show is based on. Met him a while back at an LEO convention, and can't help but give him a shout out.
If you haven't seen Breaking Bad, its an absolute must. Plus, if you start watching now, you can probably be ready to watch the last season live.

I have Amazon Prime and we got into some BBC stuff. There was a way-too-short series of Sherlock Holmes episodes, like only 6 I think, but we watched them all in 2 days.
There's also a series on Robin Hood that we only started watching.
My wife likes Castle, and as a Nathan Fillion fan from the Firefly series (which I loved), we watched that whole series as well.
"We want the warriors"
The League is hilarious. The past two seasons have been even funnier than It's Always Sunny in Philly.
Game of Thrones is awesome. Can't wait for season 3 next month.
Workaholics on comedy central is great too.
The Wire, if you haven't seen it already.
