Mark Hunt and Wandy winning by KO in Japan, what year is it?
Great night for longtime MMA fans. I'd like to buy a shot of nostalgia for everyone.
2 very entertaining bouts. I think Hunt's best days are ahead of him, actually. He has been around forever, but he has never looked so skilled, albeit still flawed. Not a title contender against the real giants, but I would favor him over much of the second half of the top 10 in that division.
Silva should retire, but will probably have to get KO'd a couple more times. Good night for him, certainly, although Stann is what he is.
Tex-Mex made by real Texicans >>>>>>>>>
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Idk why I had never seen this before today, but it made this shitty weekend better.
A sorid tale of the supernatural, gold teeth, lost treasure, and possibly crack.
X-ray of Struve's jaw. Next time Hunto walks away after a punch, Herb Dean should trust his judgement.
That's one that never gets old no matter how many times you've seen it.
Anyone planning on watching The Vikings on the History Channel tonight?
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
Not tonight but I really really want to soon.
Is there a baseball thread for 2013 yet??
I could have sworn I made one, but I can't find it anywhere.
I was going to watch the History Channel stuff tonight, but I forgot my douchebag Poli Sci professor assigned some work over break, and I want to get it done before I get to Vegas since there is a legitimate chance I may die there.
I love how the caption to that video has the the word "sorid" in it.
Wouldn't death in Vegas render the Poli Sci homework irrelevant? Enjoy the festivities and have a shot of fireball.
Its on my DVR, right now. I am hoping to watch it this weekend.
Got Game of Thrones season 2 on Friday, tried to watch it slowly, but finished it today.
That show . . . man that is good stuff. And and also, Peter Dinklage is a god. Dude could play the shark in Jaws as far as I'm concerned. He's that good.
Wait till you see season 4 (the second half of book 3 since they're breaking it up into two seasons), that's gonna be incredible.
The jump from season one to season two was astronomical, I can't even begin to imagine where it can go from here.
And I'm glad the series was adapted into a TV show, because I've heard the actual reading is quite heavy. I like reading, but only to a certain extent.
I'm in the middle of book four right now. The books drag quite a bit. The first half of book 3 was pretty boring IMO, actually kinda surprised they're making an entire season out of it. The second half blows by though. The first half of book 4 is very different from the first 3, so there's that, but not much has happened again.
You know why the book drags? No Peter Dinklage.
And don't you dare tell me that his character dies. I know full well that any character in that series can die at any time. But I'm going to hold onto the hope that he'll be invincible. And until I see it with my own eyes, anybody who tries to say otherwise will be dead to me.
He's fantastic. Stupid Emmy's didn't even nominate him this year (I think he won last year). What a joke.
He should win every award for every single role he's ever played. Homeboy can act.
Will be in the up coming new X-Men movie.
I heard about that recently. Rumors are he might be the main antagonist. It's been a while since I've said this, but I'm excited about an X-men movie.
They're making another x-men movie?
How is it going to be different from the last five?
There is two more in the cue. One is The Wolverine coming out this spring/summer, and the other is a follor up to First Class which will tie both sets of series together using alternate universes and time travel.
Oh no . . .
