Interviewing for a second time today in Atalanta with the Eagles.....
Well this is going to blow up.... The guy coaches through fear which like Saban works well in college not in the NFL.
PENN STATE FOREVER
If he goes, I wonder how many of their current commits the PSU staff goes after?
He looked like crap in the Semper Fi game.
PS-Regardless of DaeSean Hamilton being in this class, I would still go after Fuller. He is gonna be a great WR.

All of them? We can take 3 (or more if we have any de-commits). Butler, Fuller, Deeb and McGlinchey all had interest early. I'd be happy with any of them except Fuller (because we don't need another WR, not because of his skills).
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
What about the WR that flipped to ND? Forget his name. BOB was first to see his talent before other programs and the scouting services.
Fuller he's been mentioned, and that isn't completely true since at the time of his commitment he was a four star on Scout.
Did the NC game jerk his eyes open that bad or is this unrelated.
Eagles are also interviewing the Seahawks DC today. At this point Lurie looks aloof at best, so yeah Phila who knows.
I thought he was a 2 or 3 star who was relatively unknown when PSU initially reached out to him. Much like Nelson who's star power increased after more people saw him. Could be wrong. Only asking.
I feel like we have struck out miserably.... Now OB I am happy we missed on... But seriously what are we thinking?
Of course... I did not want to keep AR or get the Chud.
He was a three on here, still is on here. But he was well liked by the Scout guys and some on here. Smooth athlete that needed to gain some weight in the coaches' eyes, which was more than legitimate. Either way, I doubt he leaves. He loved both us and ND early on, and we offered first. Sanctions hit, he reconfirmed after coming to SC and meeting with BOB and then committed to ND a few days or a week later. I expect him to be very happy with ND, with or without BK. I think Butler would be the same way, and McG as well but Idk as much about him.
For a FO who should have had months of planning for a coaching search it seems theyre clueless.
We interview Arians on Tuesday...... SWEET LOL FML
Would anyone outside of Gruden, Cowher, or Ghost Lombardi satisfy you? I'm curious which names you like if not Bradley, Arians, Kelly, etc.?
As an Eagles fan I would be fine with Kelly or Bradley. I would take either one of those two over Chip Kelly (yes I know he's no longer an option), Jay Gruden, Bruce Arians, Lovie Smith, etc.
I would be okay with Bradley as long as a top notch OC is hired. That goes for most of the potential hires who are defensive coaches.
MIKE MCCOY........... If not him....
John Gruden, Gus Bradley, or David Shaw.... I am not a fan of the process we missed on Kelly, OB, and now we are on the third option... who knows what happens
OB was never offered. They did miss on Kelly. That happens in a search. Does McCoy come with Peyton? If so, sign me up. Relax and let it play out (I know this will fall on deaf ears).
McCoy has won with... Delhomme, Orton, and Tebow.... dude can coach
his most impressive accomplishment is winning with Tebow. Even Jacksonville doesn't want that trainwreck
Asking Phila to relax is like asking water to not be wet. Not gonna happen. I love his enthusiasm but I don't think relax is in his vocabulary.
Dominate The State
FWIW, I was looking around on CSNPhilly after the Brian Kelly interview and their insider didn't feel like he was a realistic option. He said the Eagles got the impression Kelly was staying in South Bend. Sorry I can't remember his name.
Word is McCoy was not overly impressive in his interview with Philly. Add to that most Broncos fans seem perfectly happy to let him leave and I'm not sure he's that great of a candidate. Just because he can work with QB's does not mean he can lead a team.
That's what intrigues me about Kelly. If nothing else, he is a leader and motivator and he has won everywhere. I don't believe that is an accident. He has taken programs with inferior talent and turned them into perennial winners. There is no guarantee he would have success in the NFL but I don't see any sense in a safe hire here. You have to swing for the fences if you think that kind of candidate is available. Success in the NFL is so difficult to sustain. We have been spoiled with Andy Reid and the odds are pretty bad that the next guy will come close to his results. May as well go sink or swim with Kelly.
Was this after the 2nd interview happening today? If not, I would say "actions speak louder than words" and that a second interview is pretty telling.
"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
IMO there are awful coaches and all the rest.... A great QB makes all the difference. The game has been watered down to that..... College football requires better coaching.
