I know he does - but Madrid has an awful lot of Money...not to mention that he has to wait a couple years to get that WC. And I didn't mean that he was a lock - only that I could see Madrid exploring that option.
I could see JoMo back at the Bridge. Pep wants to go to ManU but Fergie isn't leaving anytime soon. I don't see Loew at Madrid. JMO. If CFC doesn't get Falcao, I think Madrid could make a double swoop for he and Simeone. The huge fee would erase Atletico's debt. I know they claim loyalty to AM, but Reals money will talk.
For any Bayern or Arsenal fans.
Bayern at Arsenal Feb. 19 and Arsenal in Munich on March 13.
UEFA CL round of 16 draw.
This may be the best round of 16 that I've ever seen:
Real Madrid v Manchester United
Celtic v Juventus
Arsenal v Bayern Munich
Valencia v PSG
AC Milan v Barcelona
Shakhtar v Dortmund
Galatasaray v Schalke
Porto v Malaga
I'll take Madrid, Juve, Bayern, PSG, Barca, Dortmund, Schalke, and toss up in the final pairing.
It's time for Mourinho to show why he was brought to Madrid. He looks to be extremely disinterested in La Liga, but could still go out a legend if he could bring La Decima.
That's his remaining golden altar at the Bernebeau. This will be a tough run. The large squads are very strong this yr. Rounds of 16 and 8 will be extremely competitive, barring major upsets.
Really looking forward to this match up. One of my coworkers is a die-hard Gunners fan.
Wow. I didn't see all of the teams yet. I think that considering how strong the pool play was without too many let downs (talking to you MC) it was bound to have some good ones. How the next round shakes out could be epic, esp if MU could swap with Porto.
I wouldn't sleep on the Shakhtar Dortmund matchup either. That could be fireworks.
That's an incredible matchup. There will be goals and a lot of quality football there. Porto/Malaga is another undercard tie which should be exciting.
The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw in full:
FC Bayern Munich
Paris Saint-Germain FC
Dortmund is playing really well in the Champions League right now, I like their chances. Bayern are just cruising right now. Real and Barca are also playing well, Porto Malaga and the Galast v Schalke should be interesting matches, Schalke are not playing thier best ball in the Bundesliga right now. Am rooting for Dark Horse Celtic against Milan. Love those Unis.
I agree Madrid will explore all options, but think he is in his dream job and the stress of the RM job is many times what the stress for Germany.
What are the most stressful jobs in football?
That would be my list
I would add Schalke into that mix somewhere as they have gone through alot of managers in the past 5 years and might also consider Man U, while they have Sr. Alex when he leaves they shoot right to the top of that list.
Probably put Chelsea in the first spot followed by City and Real. Chelsea because Abramovich is trigger happy when it comes to managers.

I have one upvote left, and I am not afraid to use it!!!
He is, but the national pressure & media scrutiny is far worse for the 2 Spanish clubs. Chelsea has the harshest owner, but I still think Real and Barca carry more overall stress.
Mourinho is surprisingly the longest tenured Madrid manager since Del Bosque in 2003. People tend to forget how quick the trigger finger usually is in Madrid. I absolutely agree with it being #1.
Chiellini out for 3 months after tearing a calf muscle in training yesterday. That's a huge blow to Juve. For my money, he is currently one of the top 2 defenders in the world w Tiago Silva.
Good and has a nasty streak in him, that hurts their CL chances, may have to revisit my picks.
I would think they still beat Celtic. Given that, I'm sure he'll give it a go in the first game of the quarterfinal matchup in mid-march.
Hurts them more in the Serie A. But they have plenty of breathing room.. Not to mention good depth in the back.
Another league loss for mourinho and Madrid. I wouldn't be shocked if he wasn't still managing them by the time the ManU CL matchup comes around, as this is looking pretty pathetic.
Can someone explain how all these leagues work?? It seems like there are leagues but teams from other leagues play each other and there are no real seasons... they just play tournaments all year... I want to watch and get it more... What league is the beast? EPL?
PENN STATE FOREVER
Danny Sturridge is said to have his medical at Liverpool tomorrow before his 12 mil pound move. Young talent, never really found his way with rotating philosophies and taking a back seat to Roman's prize (Torres). Anxious to see where CFC goes from here with stikers. Already were looking for a man up front as they continue to run Torres into the ground and not Sturridge won't be available. Recall Lukaku? Loic Remy? I don't think they sign Falcao until the summer if at all.
Meyer4Prez "This is wut happens when ur team site analyst are huge homers glad Bill K+Alex G keep it real instead of getting our hopes up."
I'm pretty happy with the Sturridge signing for Liverpool and think he'll do well in Brendan Rodgers' system alongside Suarez. They still need to bring in another forward though in the January window if they want to have an outside chance of challenging for a top 4 place in the EPL.
CFC is definitely buying a few guys in January. Fellaini, Paulinho, Moutinho, Willian, and Falcao are all on the list. With Romeu out and Moses/Mikel heading for ACN...we're going to be shorthanded in both areas. I've been really pleased with Moses, and I believe that he could effectively lead the line if necessary. But, we need at least one other option. We'll definitely buy at least on CM. Sturridge to Liverpool makes sense. He never quite found the right fit at CFC, and I think he'll do well at Anfield. Fills a need for them.
