ESPN3 should have it. That's how I watched the Guatemala game. It would black out just before very goal for a few minutes, find signal again, and them come back on. Pretty good quality though.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Nothing on Zlatan? The guy's unbelievable. 4th goal was obviously the stunner, but the 2nd one was fantastic and the 3rd was perfect as far as power and placement (even if it did require a little help from Joe Hart to get into the back of the net). It's a joy to watch him score goals like this, even when he is walking around the other parts of the game haha.
Also on a side note, England had better do some soul searching. Their inability to develop talent is starting to show. If their not careful they might end up like us (putting the best athletes out there, not the best players).
I watched the Germany game if you want to call it that, without stars, Schweine and Ozil the middle field was as creative as before, like Reus and Gotze on field together, but other middle fielders were not inspiring.
Ibrahimovich was amazing to watch when they played Germany in last qualifying for WC 2014. I saw he had 3 goals, which is amazing as England is usually pretty stout D. It is just hard to keep him quiet entire game and looks they had a lapse and he converted two in five min, game over as momentum changes so quickly.
He had 4. England was starting their B squad in defense, but Ibra was unplayable. It was extraordinary.
Wow, the US defense is really, really bad. We were lucky to get a draw out of that, although Michael Bradley's goal was pretty darn good.
Hopefully we figure out what the hell we're doing back there pretty soon. Ibra is ridiculous, no other way to say it.
Boca got hurt early and Goodson came on for him who is awful. Was lost in the middle and gave away that stupid pk that Howard clearly had covered. Also Williams literally gifted them that first goal. Cameron looks like he will def be getting a starting nod at CB for WC 14. Who the other CB is up for debate. Apparantley Gonzalez was called up but had to decline b/c of the Galaxy advancing. Would have loved to see him after his ACL tear last year. Tim Ream also seems to be getting more playing time at Bolton which can only help. Once Chandler is fully cap tied, I will feel good about the back 4 going forward
He is a top 3 world wide talent...when he wants to be. Just a handful in every sense of the word - which is good and bad. At the club level he is typically a top player and the top problem personality.
But he is spectacular.
Very interesting for the US to see how the next year or two shakes out. I think players like Gatt have a great opportunity to make a run at the WC squad. Josmer will lead the line, but I was impressed with both of Agudelo's nods for the goals. Two well played moments for him. Honestly, from a talent perspective, its been a while since we've had a few quality strikers fighting to get minutes - now with Jozy, Boyd, Agudelo and the older guys we seem to have some talent. Just a matter of that translating on the field.
I like Williams and Bradley for 2 MF spots for the forseeable future. Johnson at LB is a keeper. Chandler could prove to be that at RB. But centre half, as mentioned in this thread,is a problem. I think Edu needs a good look there. And if he can get any minutes at Stoke, his chemistry with Cameron would prove to be a positive.
Chelsea v Juve about to begin...
Only game on our tv
Well, the man who wins the CL for Roman gets the axe only months later. Not surprised, but still a bit disappointed. I know Roman wants Pep and he should. But you're talking about a guy who saved at least one season, and more likely two, by winning a double, and ensured the signings of Oscar and Hazard (don't kid yourselves, they were not heading to the Bridge without CL football). Tough one for a loyal soldier in DiMatteo. Hope he comes on at Spurs in some capacity, but he'll now get considered for a host of head jobs.
My buddy told me yesterday this would likely happen I couldn't believe it.
DiMatteo got fired? That was remarkably quick. Talk about a short leash.
Btw, wasn't able to watch, but I heard Juve carried the play yesterday. I heard they got some lucky bounces, but in the end the result was never really in doubt. Good sign for Italian football.
Second part is accurate. Chelsea had a few chances but overall Cech played out of his mind (outside of challenging Giovinco on the last goal) and saved what would have been two or three goals on any other keeper.
Don't think it was fair for him to get fired. Guy had 2 bad weeks in the EPL and the Juve game yesterday. He had a shit striker (Torres) who wasnt productive. At least buy him a striker (Falcao) in Jan and let him see out the season. Please please please no RAFA as the next manager. Team Pep if we can get him
I was surprised at how little Chelsea carried the play. I only saw the last 30 minutes. They had some runs but Juventas players were in the right positions to cut off a lot of quick breaks.
The proof was in the lineup. RDM took an uncharacteristically desperate swipe with switching formations. He hasn't veered from 4231 once since taking over. 523/4411 doesnt fit CFC at all. He knew he needed a result to keep his job and it didn't happen. Unfair to him but predictable.
Poorly constructed squad and stubborn defiance on guys like Torres and Luiz who have repeatedly proven themselves inept. RA has always held the players in higher esteem than manager, and it forced a big mistake from him here. Now he'll roll in Rafa to make a last gasp at reviving Torres while the rest of the club suffers. For a guy who cuts managers so quickly, he is blinded by allegiance for players. That 50mil will linger as a dark cloud over the club until it is eliminated.
Juve crushed us. Asomoah and Lichsteiner pushed back our wingers, while Vidal and Marchisio muscled us all over the MF. If Juve's strikers weren't so wasteful (Quagliarella/Vucinic were almost unwatchable) and Cech wasn't his heroic self, it was a 6-0 match. Juves defense is SO good. Id drop 30mil for Chiellini in a heartbeat. Bonucci isnt far behind. Cahill and Luiz don't work well together. Mikel concedes too much real estate and his decisions are too deliberate. Ivanovic and Cole were solid, but the MF is so poor defensively that we bend w any decent pressure from the wings. On the flip side, that front 3 are nothing without someone to aim at. Too small, too intricate, no natural finisher. Ram is our best all around player and looks like a top 10 CM in the world. The rest of the squad is under its weight.
If Chelsea doesn't make it out of the groups will that hurt their January transfer window and possibly Falcao?

Meyer4Prez "This is wut happens when ur team site analyst are huge homers glad Bill K+Alex G keep it real instead of getting our hopes up."
No. $$$ talks. As long as they're in EPL position to be in the competition next year, players will come. City is out too but they'll buy. Falcao and Fellaini will be on watch. Atletico is desperate for cash and Fellaini wants to join CFCs little Belgium.
Chelsea was done in last 30 minutes, was not same team as in first half. The attackers did not have any creativity or sync. It a little like Germany v. Netherlands possession in front of net, but no clear chances, they could not make the passes to get a clear shot. At the back and middle field, passes were errant and defending poor.
Will be an interesting Champions League final 16 looks like the 3 Germans and 3 Spanish are through, would never have thought that would happen.
So far we have for sure in Group A Porto and PSG, Group B Shalke und Arsenal, Group C Malaga und Milan, Group D Dortmund und Real Madrid, Group E Shakhtar 10 pts, in second spot between Juvi 9 pts, Chelsea 7 pts, Group F Bayern and Valencia, Group G Barca in and Benefica (7) or Celtic (7), Group H Man U and either Cluj (7) or Galatasaray (7).
So far we have 13 teams in with four spots open. Germans (3), Spanish (3), British (2 possible 4 including Celtic), Italians (1 possible 2), Portugal (2), France (1), Ukrainian (1) possible Turkish and Romanian teams.
Favorites... Real, Barca, Dortmund (would not have picked them earlier), Bayern, ManU, Milan, PSG and Porto. Would not bet on either Spanish team both have played well at times but also left alot on the field.

My favorites in order: Real, Bayern, Barca, Dortmund, PSG. Porto is very young and playing above its head. If Juve get thru, they're on this list as well. Shakhtar are no slouch but a top defensive club will weigh them down.
I guess Porto are the Basel of this years CL.
Basel seems to be playing better after their coach Vogel got sacked a couple months ago. Really liked him and I could understand him when he was interviewed (he speaks real german not the swiss dialect).
We need to dust this sucker off. Getting up at 5:30 to watch Chelsea vs. Monterrey in the Fifa World Cup semis. Any crazy transfer predictions?? Falcao to Chelsea, Ronaldo to PSG, Walcott to ManU Sturridge to Liverpool some I've come across.
Sneijder to PSG is the surest to happen. Some others: Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy to Newcastle. Fellaini or Paulinho to Chelsea. Nani and Walcott swap. Balotelli to AC Milan. De Rossi to City...again. Kaka and/or Lampard to LA Galaxy. Llorente to Juve, Spurs, or Arsenal. Drogba to Juve. Henry to Arsenal.
