Maybe he wants to go a school that actually plays football. Pitt stopped caring about the sport when they tore down their stadium and built their basketball arena on top of it. At this point, they might as well join the new Big East / Catholic 7 basketball conference.
Doesn't seem like he's made a habit of doing a lot of planning to date. I'm just wondering, wherever his destination ends up being, if it's a package deal including the girlfriend and kiddos.
Wow, that is a sad excuse for a human being.
That was seriously one of the worst things I've ever seen posted on the internet. If I could find one poster on here and beat the shit outta him it would be that guy!
Dominate The State
For a guy that picked Pitt because of family, this is an interesting decision.
Nowadays, I'd imagine its much tougher to do this than it was before. Apartments would be harder to find this time of year, good ones anyway, and houses take time to buy. I wouldn't be surprised if daddy went across the country and "supported his family" that way.
EDIT: And I'd change "planning" to "thinking," in this situation. He has two children, a baby momma, and his mother near him at Pitt. All of those things go away if he transfers, and he'd lose a year of playing time, which essentially means exposure. PT is extremely important for a 3-and-done type of player, and losing a year of game tape hurts.

Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Please always keep this screenshot circulating...this guy should never get a pass.
"PSU a 3 to 4 win team" - New-era, September 2012
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
I wish I screenshotted some of his other posts. Dude has put up some gems about PSU, but that one is probably the best. Most have been deleted.
That was my point! I completely agree with playing time argument. Not sure I care about Pitt one way or the other but it would be a shame that a kid, with this kind of talent and no up side except a pro career, would miss out because he wants to make a point with a coach who yelled at him.
Interesting that QB Tom Savage is competing for the position at Pitt. According to Tony D. on Jed's show
last night he has moved from Rutgers to Arizona to Pitt. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
If he lost the competition at Rutgers and Arizona, he can't be too great....probably still better than anyone in Pitt's lovable band of losers....but not good.
Savage left Arizona after Rich Rod was hired...completely understandable. However, he definitely isn't a world beater.
If he has protection, he is a good QB. He reminds me of a poor man's Drew Bledsoe... big arm, can make all the throws... has issues if the blocking isn't good. Unfortunately for him, Rutgers blocking was the worst ever in FBS football (gave up a record number of sacks) and he ended up losing his job to a 5'10" 2-star kid in Chase Dodd.
Picking Arizona wasn't a poor choice, he just got unlucky that RRod landed there. Lost 2 years because of transfers.
I have to agree with the fact that he can be a good QB - heck if he does OK, he might even be a PFA due to those measurables. He just isn't a guy that is going to turn Pitt around by himself.
I definitely don't blame him for the Arizona transfer, IIRC, he was already being named the next starter after Foles graduated in front of Matt Scott...who was pretty highly recruited.
