I like Shelley as a person. Real good dude.
I'm speaking purely about his inability to play hockey and fight.
he concussed Rupp last year.....
PENN STATE FOREVER
They had ample time to get at Erksine after Simmonds went down. They chose to do nothing. And Rinaldo beating up a smaller, meaningless plug is pointless. Do you think that did anything to teach Erksine a lesson?
I bet he can concuss Crosby in a fight, too. But as far as enforcers go, he's one of the worst. Giving one non-enforcer a concussion isn't saying much.
Dude... Go watch the clips after the game everyone said it was in retaliation to the hit.... Flyers did it right in my opinion. Very proud of them for how they handled it. You're the only person I've seen question this.
Shelley is a fine enforcer.
We agree to disagree.
Simmonds is te Flyers best fighter fwiw. Skinny but he's got a long reach. I think he went like 18-0 last year or something. Picks his spots and wins.
IIRC, he lost a fight to Engelland last year. That said, Simmonds is a good fighter.
It was a draw at worst and the game before Simmonds took a puck to the face and still stood his ground....
Winning feels good. I could use some more of that please.
Go ahead and ask John Erksine if Hendricks losing a fight is going to stop him from playing physically.
We agree to disagree. If my team feels it answered the call I am comfortable with it!!! Message sent. Move on accept it. I accept you disagree. I hope you accept my view. piece love and harmony
Simmonds out and we win... coincidence? Yea probably hahaha!!
We need to win 3/4 in the home stand and hopefully lose the other in OT....
Finally, something we can agree on...
PP finally looked like they knew what the hell was going on. Frazier looked good at the point. Danny finally tucked one in. Defense still struggled (giving up 42 shots is just bad) but Bryz looked sharp again. He has yet to have a bad game, and while he hasn't stolen one, he's been pretty damn consistent. For the money he makes, obviously you expect more. But he's been playing much better than people are willing to give him credit for because of his terrible first half of last year.
Carolina can score and loves to shot the puck and just my opinion I think back to backs hurt the D the most... Bryz was awesome tonight.. I think his best game. The rest here is key... get some guys healthy... G looked amazing. Briere was making plays....
JUST GET IN.
Simmonds out indefinitely with a concussion...
Current: Hartnell's broken foot / Meszaros' shoulder separation / Simmonds' concussion
Healed: Briere broken wrist / Rinaldo cut leg
That is a lot to deal with so early.... we deserve some health luck soon please!!! Or Bobby Ryan
Did they win the game?
And also, disgusting hit by Stoll on Fowler tonight. Shanahan is going to be right back to work on this one. Stoll has a history of elbowing heads into boards, so this should be an in person hearing.
Jordan Nolan vs Bryan Allen from the Los Angeles Kings at Anaheim Ducks game on Feb 2, 2013.
Both were 7th and 8th on the team in scoring last year. Maybe I'm missing something here
Kings also did pretty well with Carter and Richards, you know, 2 other guys Philly just had to trade.
Flyers should win every game now that their most worthless player Simmonds is out, right?
One of Carter or Richards had to go. Not sure how much you know about those guys, but them together was terrible news in Philly. They were legit at the bars till all hours of the night every night of the week, weren't the most respectful in the locker room and all around didn't give a crap at points. They also had disagreements with Lavi.
Richards ended up in a good situation for him. Flyers threw the C on him too early with a young team and he ended up shying away from it. In LA he had other guys to lean on for leadership and he could just do his thing as more of a role player.
Sorry, but you don't know the situation if you think they should have both stayed in Philly.
I've heard all about it, but they seem to have done fine together in LA, where I'm guessing the night life is a little more lively than Philly.
Yeah, but they're lost in the shuffle in LA. In Philly, they went to the same bars in Old City all the time, everyone knew who they were and everyone wanted to be around them. In LA, nobody gives a crap about them. Big fish in a small pond is tougher to deal with than small fish in a big pond.
They were depth guys there.... How did Columbus do with Carter??
I liked both guys a lot but the drinking problems... we might have saved their lives by making the trade. I wish we could have kept Carter and just moved Richards to Columbus for the same 2 players.
What are your thoughts on Brayden Scheen and Sean Couturier?
Depth guys?? you continue to show you have absolutely no clue what the hell you are talking about
