Did you watch the 3rd period??? If Bryz weren't in net, the Rangers could have scored about 8 times. Watch the game get a clue!!!
Works both ways brah.
So Hank gave up 2 softies?!??? I missed that!!! Ohh he didn't. Bryz is ok nothing special. I'm tired of losing. I want my teams to deliver titles or fire people.
Cally looked like he broke something.
PENN STATE FOREVER
What the hell does what Hank did have to do with what Bryz did? Bryz stood on his head and played a very good game tonight. Let in ones he shouldn't have and saved more that he shouldn't have saved.
Bryz is not Hank. Nobody on the planet is Hank. What a ridiculous comparison. If Bryz is not playing to Hank's level, he's gone? Great strategy in theory, but signing a team with the best player in the league at each position seems just a tad bit unrealistic.
It sure looked like a separation or a bad sprain from the way he was carrying it. I doubt it was dislocated because he was still able to support it by itself. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, I actually really like Callahan.
And hopefully its a lesson learned for him. Unless you're in a cage or on a mat, don't go for a power double. It's a hockey fight, not a wrestling match.
I don't care how soft the goals are, if you only give up two goals that's on the offense, not the goalie.
Phila, it's people like you that prevent me from listen to sports radio in Philly. I can't take the impatience of this city. The fact that you think Homer is a bad GM tells me you don't know what you're talking about. Then you say Bryz has been awful, and while the first goal tonight was iffy, he's been left out to dry all season and still kept the puck out of the net for the most part. Finally you say trade Simmons, one of the hardest workers on the team. A glue guy that battles in front, harasses the goalie, scores a few goals (great assist he had tonight huh?), and doesn't lose fights. What's next? You wanna trade G? Cut Kimmo? Snyder sell the team?
When, god willing, they get their crap together in a week or two, don't come back like a conquering hero. If your gonna hop off the bandwagon, stay off and don't bring your nonsense around.
Playing without our top 3 puck moving dmen, and despite playing like complete garbage, we steal a W. Still undefeated.
I don't know what this team will be capable of once we have all of Boyle, Demers, and Burns back. It's pretty tough to keep winning when you're missing 3 of your top 4 defensemen.
True philly fan here.
I think the biggest problem they have is BRYZ. Letting Jagr go may come back to hurt them.
I wish Philafan were the Flyers GM, they would really suck then.
Hell, your GM chases every big name available, you seem to want change, why would you want to fire the guy, he's always making changes and usually big ones?
I take it you haven't watched a Flyers game this season?
Partially dislocated shoulder for Callahan. 10-14 days.
New York Rangers captain Ryan Callahan will miss between 10 days to two weeks with a partially dislocated shoulder he suffered Tuesday night against Philadelphia, the team announced Wednesday.
And the Hawks fall in a shootout to Minnesota. Sharks are the last unbeaten team in the league.
I was really hoping Chicago could stay undefeated until next week. It would've been pretty awesome to have two 9-0 teams playing each other.
No offense, but you haven't watched a game this year, have you? The defense sucks and the scoring isn't there. That is the problem.
Pens making Hank look bad......
The east is like this:
Pittsburgh always beats the Rangers.
The Rangers always beat the Flyers.
The flyers always beat the Penguins and Devils.
The Devils always beat the Rangers.
The Penguins split with the Devils.
thats why i thought last year had the penguins matched against anyone but Philly they are in the Finals. they always match up well vs the Rangers for some reason
Seems as if goalies took the night off for the Devs and Isles tonight.
"PSU a 3 to 4 win team" - New-era, September 2012
Isles are a very scary team in this short season. think it will favor teams with young legs like the Pens, Isles, Hawks
If the Pens figure out how to beat non play-off team types this year, I think they are set.
Also if my memory serves me correctly...the Devils beat the Flyers 4-1 in the playoffs last year. That doesn't seem like an 'always' to me...
Ottawa could benefit the most. Aside from Alfredsson and Gonchar their average age is like 16.
good call, forgot about them.
No Spezza though.
And also, 7-0 now. Suck it league.

More like the defense took the night off for NJ, Marty played well, Salvador took him out on Taveres second goal and some stupid penalties gave too many power play chances. The Isles finally look like a team that will make the playoffs anyhow.
You may want to check your math. Devils usually win the season series with the Pens, including a 6-0 sweep a couple years ago. Devils are 33-21 over last 8 years against the Pens
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! Flyers fans just admit... you got drunk... did not understand the game... ITS OK... Flyers are a BAD team in need of a major overhaul. We just got our ass kicked by the WORST team in the NHL. After tomorrow we are 20% through the season... unless a major change is made we are picking in the top 5. We need to fire the coach and trade pieces. Clubmed needs to end. It is bad VERY bad.
