Steve Young says hi.
You have 1 in semi modern history..... I'll take the win.
PENN STATE FOREVER
not to mention his career was cut short due to injury!!!! and it was a smaller one due to him not being good / Montana early on....
Give me Luck all day long
The point is that it's possible and not completely unprecedented. You have a few others who nearly crossed the apex (McNabb, McNair). I'm very interested to see how Kapernick fares this year.
Gotta love the Curt Warner clip!
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
In today's NFL, Anus Williams would've gotten a $1 million fine and season long suspension for his hit on Young. He took that in the pocket...had nothing to do w being a running QB.
Everything is possible.... The numbers dont lie... pocket passer wins titles...
and McNabb and McNair both went to more pocket passers.... Nothing close to these guys... It just will never work for continued success.
Kap is going to get destroyed by Clay Matthews
those rules have made the passing QB that much more dangerous... IMO football is played in college and some sort of 7-7 / arena / football hybrid exists at the NFL
The moral of the story is that, even when it appears impossible, the Redskins will find a way to sabotage their own franchise.
hahahahahahahaha well said well said!
I think we all agree The Patriots / Broncos are going to win..... Who the hell wins in the NFC??? I can make a great case for every single team in the NFC winning.
I'm confident on SF. SEA is a really good team, but ATL is great at home and SEA is facing back to back cross country trips. SF/ATL and DEN/NE would be two high quality Champ games. Wouldn't be shocked if SEA won but GB is beat up.
Unless you're the passing yardage leader that season, then you never win.
I was wondering during that game what on earth it would take Shanahan to finally take RG3 out of the game. From the second series the guy was in obvious pain. Good grief, talk about getting someone killed out there.
Was like Spurrier early this year - guy kept running his injured QB around.

seattle matches up well with atlanta. the trip east again scares me but this team is playing well. losing clemons to an ACL on that joke of a field sucks but it is what it is.
if they beat atlanta i think they will win the nfc
Anyone in the playoffs matches up well against Atlanta. Because, well...it's the playoffs. How long has it been since the Falcons won a postseason game?
I do think the Seahawks are balanced and can make a run. I think the Packers are poised to make it to the SB as well. Hitting their stride at the right time.
