I don't remember Rob's wife being killed in the book.
I'm pretty sure she did but maybe I'm wrong. When my wife read this part of the book, she refused to read or watch any further. She's held to her word too.
She isn't killed at the Red Wedding. In the books, Robb decides that it would be an added insult to bring his wife in front of Walder Frey so he leaves her behind. In the books, she's not a real main character though so it isn't really dwelled upon.
She's also in a later book briefly. But in the show her name is Talissa and in the book she's Jeyne Westerling. So they're not exactly the same character either.
Kinda a random question but can someone remind me where Bran is traveling to and why? He keeps mentioning a specific place beyond the wall but I keep thinking to myself that I have no idea why he is traveling there.

Based on what they've said in the show, he's "going to try to find the 3 eyed raven."
Yeah I thought she might have a bigger role later in the books. Or at least her son. I guess not.
Correct. It's north of the wall. Can't really say more with out spoiling it.
There's a reason this book is called a Feast of Crows.
HBO went out of their way to make one bit more gruesome however - his wife was not pregnant in the book. I thought that was an interesting touch.

So THAT'S where I remember him from.
Oh yea, Tywin is the biggest bad a$$ in the realm. He gets what he wants.
Man, I'm still pretty bummed out. I don't know if I'm gonna be up for watching the next episode by Sunday.
Don't worry....Hodor will rise up and give a lengthy insightful speech that inspires the North. Hodor will lead them to victory, unless there is non-stop thunder storms.
It's "A Feast for Crows" and that's not even the correct book. Seasons 3 and 4 are from "A Storm of Swords."
Hodor is the prince that was promised, the Last Hero, Azor Ahai, and Dany's future husband. It is known.
This might make me an awful person, but I was looking forward to the Red Wedding. The Robb/Talisa scenes were some of the most boring on the show. It looks like they switched the storylines for the Greatjon and Blackfish.
Red Wedding reaction compilation. Great stuff.
Best reactions to the last scenes of GAME OF THRONES S03E09 (Spoiler Alert). Credit goes to all the YT Uploaders!! Thanks people for this great footage!

Extremely disappointed, not sure when I will watch the next episode, may have killed the series for.
“Never trust a government that doesn't trust its own citizens with guns.”
totally disagree and I didn't nor will I read the books. I was shocked and surprised just like when Ned got killed but it's really cool. The author and the show runners aren't afraid to kill off characters. Rob Stark was a bumbling leader, screwed the crazy king by not marrying his daughter and was never going to become a real king. His mom dicked him and screwed up by capturing Tyrion and letting Jamie go. I was shocked but about 15 minutes after I watched it on demand early this AM, I loved it. Great ending and it makes it now even more interesting for Arya, Sansa, and Bran. There are so many great characters in this series that you won't be missing them by end of next week. Can't wait for Calesi and her dragon to eventually come across the water. Wildings, Wall, Nightwalkers, Crazy broad who likes king blood and birth demons, Tyrion, Jamie and the giant warrior princess. Fire gods - can't wait for next week. Hell - I can even deal with a little Theon torture despite it being the most annoying plot of the year.
Yeah, that was seriously phenomenal stuff. I can't remember the last time a show captivated me this.
That being said, I still felt like this all day because of that damn red wedding.

That was hilarious, disturbing, and indictable l uncomfortable all at the same time.
I am wondering what the future has in store for Jon Snow now that Rob is dead. Have a feeling he may end up leading his family soon.

As a cat owner, I am not a dog person at all, but I absolutely love those damn direwolves. This scene is probably what killed me the most.
The dire wolves are bad ass!!!!!!!!!!!!
The cool thing about the books (and TV show) is that everyone is potentially going to get killed. The story is not predictable and keeps things interesting the way the various stories are developed simultaneously
