Those slave soldiers Danerys is about to buy are going to a huge advantage. Couple that with 3 living dragons and she is on her way back to claiming the Iron Throne!
OB needs to recruit some of those soldiers!
The creators of the show are stupid. They are spreading out Dany's storyline too much. People are going to be able to easily speculate what happens.
If people cannot figure out by now that Dany would never give up Drogon...then I do not care if they think the plot is easy to figure for the upcoming episodes.
"PSU a 3 to 4 win team" - New-era, September 2012
I just feel like they should have kept the Astapor storyline within 2-3 episodes at the most.
I agree. I think the timeline they have created is very difficult to figure out, here. It is confusing with Theon as well, as to where it syncs up with the RW and Bolton capture.
I think the pacing of the season is pretty horrible too, but I don't think it matters much about knowing what's going to happen in Astapor. I think they should have put the entire third book into one season and just made the season a couple of episodes longer. The first half of book 3 is relatively uneventful, so the whole season has to slow down if they want to reach the "major event" at the end of the season (tried to keep this post vague just in case people haven't read it).
He's already with Bolton it appears...
They really are showing the "fall of Jamie" well in this as he went from arrogant and confident, nearly untouchable to where he is now
Suck It Emmert!! and "Sorry for not being sorry for being a Penn Stater" - Philafan
Very confused as to what they're doing with Theon. Will be interesting to watch. Jamie losing his sword hand is a HUGE event in the story. Probably the 2nd biggest after the beheading of The Stark.
Black Shoes. Basic Blues. No Name. All Game.
Anything that upsets Cersei, is fine by me...another plus for Margery :)
More similar to the book now, they just added some, I believe in the book they just mentioned they made him think he could run, and then brought him back as it was all a trap.
tonight brings the grand total of exciting/cool things to occur in the Dany storyline to 2
Fire and f*cking blood!

Ive always liked the Dany storyline, no small part of that being those around her. Khal Drogo, the dragons, Selmy, the young Bear, the Unsullied..in the book Strong Belwas.
Sometimes I wish it would move a bit faster.
I also like that she has the back story we dont see but get told about, the family tree and all. Valaria and the Dragon ties.
There are parts that annoy me coming up if they stick to the book, but to this point of her story I like it.

When the mystery character is revealed it might start to make sense. Also, once you learn more about the mystery character and his personality it might start to make sense. He is one bad dude apparently.
DRAGON ARMY FOR THE MF WIN
PENN STATE FOREVER
Who is this mystery character?
Dominate The State
The dude that was leading Theon around.
I thought the "mystery character" was pretty obvious from the beginning. The storyline happened in book 5 in a flashback, they just changed the details up a little bit to play the audience who already read the book (and to avoid even more worthless character additions. Same reason Willas wasn't mentioned today and he was replaced with Loras.
Yea, I know who it is.
the valuable lesson here? Do not mess with Daenerys Targaryen

Certain parts of my body really want to mess with Daenerys Targaryen...
The author made her out to be a girl with a fairly large appetite...HBO chose to overlook that. She wouldn't have exactly turned you down.
Theon is just being mentally screwed by The Bastard right now. I could see him going missing for a few episodes and then showing up in the last episode as the thing he is to become. Reek, reek it rhymes with weak.
Jaime's scenes were great.
I can't wait until we see Beric "the greatest name in Westeros" Dondarrion in action.
Last night's episode was epic. Best of the season so far.
