The gamesmanship that the dwarf pulled off in this episode is worth the watch. Well done.
It was so well played. He knew someone would spill the beans to Cersei and once they did...they were gone
Yeah, they are taking some serious liberties with things implied but never stated or described in the books - Melisandre and Stannis, now Renley and Loras. Guess it makes for a more "compelling show", though that scene last night was a head-turner for me. Asked the girlfriend to let me know when it was over. Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;-)
And yeah, Appoo, there is no doubt that Martin leans to pervy. Some of the stuff in the books can make you a little uncomfortable reading it, and I say that as someone who is pretty open with those sorts of things.
I thought they killed off Kenny F'n Powers there for a second. That would have been more shocking than the whole Ned Stark beheading.
Someone needs to explain to me wtf came outta that chicks vagina hahah
Yeah me too, friggin lost.

Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
A demon of some sort.
So I guess she lied to Stannis about giving him a son?? Now what is he going to do if she is no longer advising him??
Didn't they go to Stannis' brother's shoreline to release the demon? I think Stannis knew exactly what was going on.
I read all the books, but will not spoil anything. I'm expecting the show to explain it in the next episodes, but that was a shadow... Things will be getting weirder and crazier as the show progresses.
Hats off to them making Harrenhall look creepy/cursed as hell. "What fire melts stone"...."Dragons fire". Decent line
Also wanna punch Joffrey in the face
I was curious to know where that was taking place.
I'm watching the new episode now...and this entire scene with Joffrey was pure bullsh!t, after the bearing he forced upon Sansa. Same is true of Robb on the battle field. Don't know what that was about.
Black Shoes. Basic Blues. No Name. All Game.
I've really enjoyed how the show started off more realistic then fantasy, but is now bringing in more of the fantasy aspects. Tyrion is the man, it has been really interesting watching his charater develope so far.
Said the exact same thing to my gf - huge wtf there. They are making up scenes for character development that aren't necessary - as if anyone needed a reason to hate Joffrey more?? Also, don't recall the bit of dialogue between Davos and the lady in red where she asks if he wants to see what's under her robes, nor the discussion between Littlefinger and Renley's wife.
That was effing disturbing.
There wasnt anything overtly gay in the books.
I read that while Martin was working with the crew on season one it was something that he wanted to be a part of the show.
Hardly any of it happened the same way in the book. They are just too involved. The show will follow the basic story line and throw some nudity in whenever they can.

What the hell? That was so stupid.
Stannis is kind of a dick if he knew that would happen. I'm calling it now, the crippled boy will be a boss later on.
Huh? My favorite episode of the season thus far...
The smoke thing at the beginning that killed Renley. That red woman just gives birth to a random smoke thing that can kill someone? IDK just seems like literally anything is fair game after seeing that.
Well yeah, dude. Magic kind of throws rules out the window. But that's the fun of fantasy shows. I'd think the show would be lacking without it...
