How on earth did he land at a JUCO ? He has great size.... 6'5" 210 lbs and he can flat out throw it. From what I saw, he has more than enough zip on the ball, and a very, very nice deep ball with touch. I am trying to find some info on why he wasn't recruited more aggressively by big-time programs? I must be missing something. This kid looks every bit as good as Waters...
Was in a run heavy offense, Ridgevew almost always has a run first QB. Someone else was also saying he was injured his whole senior year.
He is the #1 JUCO QB on 247 Composite rankings.

Waters won a title... This guy I *think I read* was not in as good a JUCO program. Waters was the "gem" this guy is good too
PENN STATE FOREVER
FWIW Scout has him as having 'high interest' in us and 'no interest' in Houston. Interesting considering he apparently committed to Houston this morning before we called.
Where did you see his deep throws? I watched a Hudl film that was about 2 mins long with short to intermediate throws. With such an awkward delivery I was curious to his arm strength and placement of deep balls.

Houston or Penn State that's a clown question. Commit watch this weekend!
His high school film has a couple in them, I believe It's on the first page of one ferguson thread.

Sean linked a video of him in his JUCO year.
Either this website doesn't exist or is not currently available.
Thanks everybody, appreciate it.
I like that in his Jr film that he isn't afraid to put some touch on his throws. A lot of guys like to just throw it as hard as they can.
I thought the same thing. He puts a nice trajectory on his deep throws. Excellent touch, and that was as a HS junior....
247 had a write up on him a week or two ago. Broken collar bone (IIRC) and missed playing most of senior year in high school.
I think that is one of those things that is hard to teach.
Byron Leftwitch throws the ball the same way every time.
It looks like he has a little hitch in his throws kind of like Kerry Collins had.
Oh hell, please don't say that..
Holds ball high
Throws off back foot too much
Deep balls look like shot puts
From Sean's article 29 days ago:
"Coming out of Ridgeview High School in Bakersfield, Ferguson split time as a starter his junior year and then missed more than half of his senior season. He was, however, selected to play in the Cal-State All-Star Game in December."
