I am sure he will explain why he decided to stay, but what else do you think he'll discuss ?
MTay's o-line skills?.....
I'm very interested in this as well. Seems like he might have something interesting/unexpected to say. Coaches test the waters and interview elsewhere all the time and as far as I know, holding a press conference following that event is not common practice.
I think the idea will be to re-affirm his commitment to the university, and in another sense, it will be a victory ceremony.
F the NCAA
F the BOT
Bob's going to explain that he interviewed with the NFL so he could tell them right to their faces to piss off, he is a Nittany Lion for life. Then, he'll invite Craig Fitzgerald onto the stage. They'll rip off their shirts to reveal matching Mauti and Zordich tats on their chests. After doing 100 burpees, he'll end the press conference by punching every member of the media in the face for doubting him.
Great move by BOB IMO. People want to hear him explain his reasoning over the last week, and even though I don't think he'll offer up too much, I think it is very much needed; especially so the damn media can quit painting a negative picture to all our recruits.

Dominate The State
Yeah, I think this will mostly be a thinly disguised recruiting pitch, which I like....
I assume The Outsiders will make an appearance at some point...?
Say he never intended to leave; that he is here for the long term regardless of how long the sanctions last; outline some changes he will make to the football operations; &, say he intends to work with the administration and the AD (whoever that may be) to fill the stadium for all games.
The PC is for BOB to reaffirm his commitment to our beloved PSU, call out Joyner for the low life, lying, newerahead that he is and to publicly state that to say Mr. Apology has a noodle spine would be an overstatement.
He'll probably discuss how everyone will be talking about Alabama, Notre Dame, their title game, and Bill Obrien & Penn State on the biggest CFB day of the year.
He's going to explain his new term for "run-on".
That would be too sweet.
He needs to start mending some fences with alumni, if nothing else. The stadium is already showing empty seats.
Hopefully He tells us all that erickson and joyner do not care about PSU Athletics
Football alumni, just fan alumni, or both?

This was the funniest post I've read on here. I'm still laughing.
This was quoting the comment referring to "mtayls oline skills". Man some people on here need to get a sense of humor, so sensitive to so many comments. Learn from these recruits and current players who knew the sky wasn't falling.
Whatever he's saying is either in reference to interviews he took, the changes being made, or in reference to the lawsuit vs. NCAA. He's waited an adequate amount of time and established the necessary credibility to speak freely now.
I feel bad for Jeff and Sean, but otherwise YES! (Especially to Giger). +53

I wholeheartedly agree that Giger needs punched in the face.

we're all a bunch of FIGHTERS!!! WHOOOO
Part of the reason has to be that we are still in the dead period I believe and this is one way to talk to the recruits about what he is planning and why he stayed.
