Seems like a good a time as any to start this. If nothing else, keeping on top of who is moving where (Penn State guys or otherwise) will help my fantasy teams.
The Cowboys released Dan Connor today.
Also (sorta fair catching this), Percy Harvin is now a Seahawk.

Percy in PC's circle of trust.
Percy for this years 1st and 7th round picks and a mid-level pick in 2014.
As a die-hard seahawks fan I wasnt sure about giving up a 1st rounder. Then I realized he's still only 24 and with his talent he would be a top 10 draft pick. Just hope they can work out a cap friendly contract because he wants to be paid like Calvin Johnson......and he needs to stay healthy.
Some people say changes in weather (like, say, sudden onsets of rain, like one might find in, say, Seattle) can trigger migraines, which have bothered Harvin for years. Could be something to watch.
I love this deal for Minnesota. They just rid the locker room of a huge headache who cannot play 16 games and got a 1st round pick to boot. Terrific job by that GM.

Just reported that Anquan Boldin headed to the 49ers for a sixth-round pick pending a physical.

That's a big wtf move to me.
Sad to see him leave Baltimore, but I'll be rooting for him ... he'll probably win another Super Bowl.
The Raven's are going to have a rough off season, IMO.
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
Cardinals release RB Beanie Wells.
For which side?
Not a transaction, but Eagles worked out Geno Smith in front of Jeff Lurie today. I highly doubt they'd take him at 4 (what a terrible pick that would be IMO), but I guess I could see them moving down and giving him a look. Would rather wait for EJ Manuel or Matt Scott and then next year make a move on a QB with Bridgewater, Mariota, Manziel, etc. out there.
I think it is a steal for the Niners...so I am assuming you mean its a WTF for the Ravens giving Boldin away for a bag of peanuts.
It's simple, Ravens have salary cap problems. They asked him to take a pay cut and he refused. They were most likely going to cut him anyway to save money, but now they got a 6th round pick instead. Better than nothing. And for the 49ers, they get a good but aging WR who can provide a solid presence on offense and be a leader for a young group of WR's, some of whom may not have their heads on straight.
Yea but Flacco got his money.
I didn't understand the salary cap issue they were facing since I thought Ray Ray would have been a big cap helper.
Mortensen reported yesterday that the Ravens were 18mil under the cap. Don't get it, but as a Steelers fan i like it!
Baltimore. Not just trading him but trading him to a team as good as SF for very little. I also think the Vikes made out very well in their trade.

Thats a ton to give up for a guy who has played basically 1 full year if i recall
I believe Mortensen was incorrect. Baltimore Sun reported that the Ravens are now 16.7 million under the cap (after the Boldin trade which freed up 4.5 million). The Ravens have a ton of free agents....lots of tough decisions for the Ravens in the next 24 hours.
I think baltimore has no shot at repeating. In the NFL you always got to look two steps ahead. No sense for baltimore to pay big money to Bolden and have him around for his 33 and 34 year seasons. Short term win for the niners and their window is now so take it. The equation for winning in the NFL is to not overpay for guys who aren't qb's and get out at the right time with veterans and reload through the draft.
This past year was really the first year he missed a bunch of game due to injury. (He missed 3 games the previous 3 seasons)
The migraine thing is more of a concern for me, but he is a playmaker, that's for sure.

Love the talent Harvin has to go along with an emerging Tate, but he's got to stay healthy else this is going to end up worse than the Whitehurst trade.

This. They are broke after paying Flacco.. Much the similar Steelers dilemma... Both teams need to get under the cap. And the Ravens have Smith and the fast receiver that caught the long TD (name is escaping me). They will be fine. But this is a money move, pure and simple.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Yep, Torrey Smith. Jacoby Jones might also be in for a bigger role now. I'm confident they'll draft someone too.
Crazy pick up....Crabtree and Boldin....and Vernon Davis!?! I can't believe all they got was a sixth round pick too.....geez.
Even with the cap issues I thought they could fish Boldin a little more than that.
