I agree, but if one of those two are there, and are by far the best available, and you have one to trade down with, are you passing on them?
Geno Smith! (kidding). Hoping for a trade to be honest.
Like a fan of every team in the 5-15 range, I'd like to see a trade down. This happens every year - Bills finish with 5-7 wins and far enough back that all the elite players are gone, but early enough that you don't get good value at all with the next tier of prospects.
I haven't followed the draft as much this year, so I don't know who I'd want as the pick.
See, I think there are some good players at the top, but the mid 1st round guys are no better than guys that will go in the 2nd. Might not line up with your needs though. One thing I hope is you guys don't take a QB 1st, I might cry for you.
Would like to see Steelers add pass rushing OLB like Jones in first. TE or S in the 2d and Denard Robinson in the 3d. Steelers have done well with the converted QB approach.
Giants fan here. I'd love Fluker or Warmack to be there at 19. But it wouldn't matter anyway. Jerry Reese will take the BPA, likely a pass rushing DE. I expect a Seminole DE to be the newest Giant by late Friday night.

Well, it's looking like a QB.
I'm not a fan of any of the QB's, but if we do then it won't be the end of the world. Even if it's not Andrew Luck, it's someone that we can hope will develop into someone decent. At this point I just want good coaching and then go from there.
Fisher, Jordan, or Milliner. Do not want Floyd or Geno. I'd be okay with Lotuleile (spelling) but would rather just trade down if we can't get one if those three.
Would love to see the eagles take one of the tackles / the DT from Utah at 4, and a safety / corner in the 2nd depending on who is available at that point. I don't really love any of the QB's this year, and that pick at the top of the 2nd is too valuable to waste on a qb your aren't absolutely sold on.
This is why I'm hoping they trade down. They seem to like Nassib out of Syracuse (which makes sense) and he should definitely be there late in the first, maybe even when they're up again in the second. Might be able to trade down, pick up a linebacker a little later in the first, and take Nassib early in the second. I think we could use a few extra draft picks right now after all the offseason departures.
Absolutely, but I never count on trading down. Mainly because you need two to tango, and because the Bills never seem to actively seek out a trade down.
I'd love to see a trade down.
Man, the draft came fast this year, can't believe it starts this Thursday.
My fear is that they don't trade down and decide to draft Barkley. And then he'll end up a bust like every other recent USC quarterback/won't have the arm strength to play in Buffalo and we just reset to 4 or 5 years ago when Trent Edwards was at the helm.
Honestly, I'm not all that concerned about arm strength. I'm not necessarily a fan of Barkley, but you look at Tom Brady - the guy had to get a running start just to throw it downfield early in his career. As long as you can actually connect downfield enough to keep a defense honest, I'm satisfied.
Yeah, I'm still not sure about Barkley, but we'll have to see. Terrible year to need a QB early.
How's Buffalo's guard situation now that Levitre left? What about Warmack?
no way will they take Glennon in R3
Ideally they trade back in R1 and take Hopkins. I would not touch Patterson or Jones. The Steelers like 43 DEs because they face OTs, not TEs on the line of scrimmage. Jones is just a slower Timmons.
I really like the OLB/ILB/S/WR depth in rounds 2-4
That being said, everyone wants to trade back this year, so that is likely a pipe dream. the Eagles would be fortunate to get Fisher at 4, there is nothing wrong with having an elite OT prospect play a few years at RT before kicking over to LT. Peters is hardly young and has had a few big injuries.
this is true, but DeCastro should not have fallen that far considering who went before him.
I think the Steelers take either guard if he is available. A lot of teams need one this year.
disagree, there is zero depth, Foster is pretty marginal. Adams, Pouncey, and Gilbert are not guards anyways.
either guard could bump Foster to a backup at LG/RG/RT.
if one is there they are almost certainly the BPA. Id rather grab one of them than reach or take a risky guy.
I'm not a fan of an OG at 8 at all. Our GM, Nix, never drafts OL in the first round anyway.
Right now there seems to be a glaring hole, but I think a middle round OG can usually come in and start. There's some scrubs there right now, I think (Sam Young, maybe).
Sam Young from Notre Dame?

Just curious which you'd prefer. Reach for the QB at 8, or go with Warmack?
As a jet fan, the dream is Jordan and warmack
Bleh. I guess I'd prefer Warmack, but not terribly happy with either.
RWC: yes, Sam Young from ND.
Steeler fans take a little look at this
1. Cordarrelle Patterson-Tenn
2. Jamie Collins-Southern Miss
3. Marcus Lattimore-South Carolina
4. T.J. McDonald-USC
5. Will Davis-Utah
@meyer 4 prez I'm glad Bill K and Alex G keeps it real with us, instead of getting our hopes up.
Mauti makes the draft for me....being serious now, a lot of boom or bust potential in that draft.
I like Collins and McDonald - especially TJ. I think Wagner, Mauti and Davis will come of the board before the rounds you have them in. Not a fan on sitting Lattimore for a year. My shot:
1.) Kenny Vaccaro - Texas S
2.) Jamie Collins - Southern Miss
3.) Stedman Bailey - WVU WR
4.) Alvin Bailey - Arkansas G
6a) Rodney Smith - FSU WR
6b) Michael Ford - LSU RB
7.) Quinton Dial - Bama - DE
