This is such a filthy performance by Stauskas.
I'm actually pulling for Michigan to win it all. I can't stand Boeheim and the orange. A Michigan Louisville final would be nice but me liking the underdogs I'd rather have Michigan and Wichita state
The first few minutes of the second half, offensively, have been tough to watch.
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
Holy shit! That was not a pretty sight. I happened to be looking right at Ware(?) jumping when his leg snapped.
This is horrible.
My stepdaughter just changed to channel. What happened?
I kind of want to throw up. That's nasty.
He jumped up trying to block a 3 and when he landed his leg just snapped ala Theisman. Not sure if it broke skin or not
Thanks. No interest in seeing the replay. I hope they're not showing it over and over again.
They showed it once, maybe twice. But I think they realized it was too gruesome to keep replaying. It was worse seeing it live have the sudden realization that yes, his leg did just snap in a basketball game.
Louisville needs to calm down a little bit and they'll be fine. Easier said than done though. Big test for Pitino.
Rooting for Louisville... Because of my bracket, and because the only redeeming value Duke has is Jay Bilas. Its like soccer game watching these Duke players flopping everywhere. Or watching Vlade Divac
WE ARE! And we will always be...
That was the most gruesome injury I have ever seen. I am pretty sure the bone was sticking out of his leg.
Just saw the replay, I had no intentions of watching it was in bedded in an article, and there is no need to watch. I worked as EMT for a number of years and in health care for a long time and have seen some really f*cked up shit after it happened but I cannot stomach actually watching it, can't unsee that.

You can almost guarantee it was, when legs break that way it is almost always a compound fracture.
Rooting for the team and the coach that actually values athletes getting an education.
Siva is a SR and the best player on the floor. Petino actually has a good track record for student athletes. Donovan too. Now, Calipari? Totally different story. I think you're mistaking Petino for Calipari...

I hate this lifted courts in football stadiums.... Traditional courts much safer
PENN STATE FOREVER
How so? Other than the pits for the tea benches, but that wasn't a factor in the injury.
Blood in the water. Louisville circling for the kill.

Yeah, Louisville pulling away in this one now.
"DOMINATE the state" - James Franklin 1/11/14
Annnnnd I win my bracket baby! ahahahaha
I'm late to this thread, but that was one of the worst sports injuries I've ever seen. I rewound it a bunch of times. You can hear the snap, and I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure I saw bone. If you get the chance watch the bench's reaction when they see it.
It almost seemed like when he landed something happened with his ankle and it rolled a bit, that put too much pressure on the leg and blamo. Seemed like his knee buckled too.
There are zoom freeze frames if you google it...bone is about 3 in thru his skin. It was pretty horrific. After watching the replay, it looks like he didn't appropriately brace for the impact...albeit not that irregular. Very sad.
So, uh, Wichita State...
