ESPN now reporting it. Rutgers and MD in negotiations with Big Ten.
The University of Maryland is in serious negotiations to join the Big Ten Conference, sources told ESPN.com on Saturday.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
+1 to you sir
There we go. Something mainstream.
I would hope the play by play announcer for Psu football and basketball is credible enough for you. Other than that scumball, Delaney, who do you need to hear it from?
I'm an academic. I spend all of my time with academics. I'm pursuing an academic career.
Culture matters. Big time.
so, UMD and Rutgers... Well, that will take us to 14, only two spots left if the "superconference" talk happens. I honestly wish it would so Notre Dame would have to join one. If the BIG and the ACC go to 16 full members, ND will be left out in the cold.
A national reporter. It has been provided. Like I said, I didn't say it was a lie, just wanted some better confirmation.
Yeah, since Mainstream is known for being correct.
Steve Jones has 100000% more credibility than ESPN does. Sorry, just really need to let people know who Steve Jones is. Great guy.

"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
All I heard three times was "I don't care about money and the real world."
Gotta plus 1 that one. Ohh how true it is too
lots of smoke. Pat Forde, Dan Wetzel, Dana O'Neil all tweeting that their sources say MD and Rutgers in advanced talks to join the B1G

UVA and another east coast school would make me (and other PSU fans) happy.
In his defense Mtayl wouldn't know not being a grad or from the area.
To be more accurate, they are all reporting that the Big10 is in serious discussions with both of those schools about possibly joining the conference. Nothing has been formally agreed upon yet.
ND will always have the 16th spot, and if cornered ND will go to the B1G.
Does this help or hurt PSU recruiting in those states?
Dominate The State
About what I would expect from an economics major. There is a reason your clan is getting so much push back in academia the last ten years, because money is not the only thing that comprises the "real world".
Academics do not think only in terms of money. It matters, but so do a lot of other things. With the new ACC contract, PSU can justify lost revenue and work to compensate through fundraising.
You think so? I'm getting the feeling that the ACC will be forced, at some time, to give them the ultimatum that the BIG has always given them, all sports or none. If the ACC and the BIG are nearing a full conference, I feel Notre Dame will join the ACC. Just my gut, even though they are a natural fit to the BIG.
