I HATE Notre Dame but I feel really bad for Manti. Couldn't even imagine going through this.
I despise them too but this kid is all class. Plays the game as hard as anyone.
I agree... Tough times for manti, i could not imagine having to deal with that...i hope he finds peace and comfort and stays strong

How do I get down voted for that lol?
Stock dropped big time.
Manti Te'o went through workouts at the NFL scouting combine at Lucas Oil Stadium with the linebacker group Monday afternoon, and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.82 seconds. His time was 20th of the 26 linebackers who ran at the combine Monday.

Hodges ran just as slow.....
PENN STATE FOREVER
Hodges not a Heisman candidate nor had all the hype.

This guy had Hodges as a riser.
Edit: while we are on this thread, I take back what I said about Te'o in my first post.

"Gerald Hodges, Penn State: Hodges started slowly with a 4.78 in the 40. He looked significantly quicker in the exercises. Hodges was outstanding during coverage drills, possibly the best of the group. He got terrific depth on drops and never dropped a pass. His change of direction was smooth, and Hodges was fast moving to all areas of the field. He's another three-down, weak-side linebacker with starting potential." Nice!
Almost as slow, but not as. Wasn't a first rounder. Didn't cut weight from his college playing weight in order to get faster.
Fwiw, I don't feel bad AT ALL for Teo.

I don't even want to think about my imaginary girlfriend dying.
The thing the experts say will hurt his draft stock the most at this point is his loyalty to his girlfriend. He already provided a list of cities he will not sign with because his girlfriend was not willing to move to them, stating that "after dying, she wants to be closer to family because you just never know when you'll disappear."

Teo continued to perpetuate the "my poor girlfriend is dead" myth long after it was revealed to him that the story was a fraud. I have yet to hear him address this point (he may have). Don't feel sorry for him at all. Also, he stank in the MNC game - king of the arm tacklers. He's over-rated in my opinion, plain and simple, and a lot of the over-rating had to do with the hype around his "character."

Navarro Bowman only ran a 4.70 at the combine...
