Can I get a chart that will show me how much I can joke before it is offensive? Is there a point system?
Because everyone keeps saying that white people don't matter- something which I never said. However, I did say that I think people should be more open-minded and try to understand why hispanic people would be offended... But no, they should just have tougher skin... Not march. I just need to realize that some people are really defensive when people who don't look like them are offended about something. They will not try to understand, because they don't have to, and do want to. It's reality. People are still close minded in 2012
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Yep. That's the point here... Exactly. And I'm sure those students marching could make up one for you. Have to be some stats people in there. Some psychology majors.

Those coke whores should have been ignored, the Latino community at PSU should have ignored it if they knew those girls were some of the worst people in the world
I wouldn't be offended by a white trash party and country folks are my ancestors (moonshiners for life). I know why they're offended, just think they are getting worked up over something that wasn't a huge issue. I fully support their right to public demonstration.
I didn't mean to quote rmj on that mini rant
So you're outraged that Jamie Foxx was just joking about killing all white people, right? And you'd support a march against his comments, right? After all, there were a lot of white people offended by his comments. Probably enough people to cross your arbitrary number threshold.
Well good. I'm glad you support them marching against something that offended them. You understand why they are offended by dont think it was a huge issue... That makes total sense and isn't contradictory at all.
Psychology majors? Nah, give me people who can do math.
Everyone bash the minorities for taking offense lol Token vs. Stan thread, part 2...
Who, me? Nope, I have thicker skin and know to dismiss racists like Jamie Foxx.
So bash those that do march?
I understand that people get offended over the slightest thing anymore. They felt slighted and thought there was malice. I think it was a joke. I understand and don't believe it is a BFD. Not very contradictory at all.
Nope. I would say they're better off ignoring him.
That's not what's happening here though. No one is saying that it was so messed up that they should be ignored... They are saying, have thicker skin, it wasn't a big deal...
It wasn't a big deal. It was COLLEGE KIDS at a HALLOWEEN party. All sorts of groups are "made fun of" with Halloween costumes.
Can we start on this point system? I say make it a 100 point threshold, that way it is nice and simple for everyone and no one is confused by the rules.
I don't think anyone should give a crap
HEY YOU GUYS COOL DEBATE.
