good info, thanks!!
Fortunately, some one at ESPN directed their radio personalities to give Paterno some time all day. Unfortunately, no one at ESPN changed their feelings b/c no one read anything but summaries. I fear they will stop talking about the report tomorrow. We need these blowhards at ESPN to keep this in the discussion & for people to start saying we should revisit it.
again the paternos aren't dumb. i think everything they do from here on out will be calculated.
I think this happened today.
I think at some point in the near future you will see some of the BOT have a change of tune like Summers did today.
I think a lawsuit will drop also in the near future.
All of it to keep the pressure on everyone making the decisions.
Agreed. This is where the process broke. They need to explain what MM told them (in a way that is reconcilable to MM's testimony if that's possible) and why they understood it to be just horseplay. It's just frustrating because MM says he told them it was 'extremely sexual'. Either that's what he really said and Curley/Schultz screwed up or MM told them something more benign and later changed his story.
"You can take bowl games and you can take external things from people, but you can't take a warrior's heart."
Jay Paterno just posted on Facebook:
"Just landed in Newark. Headed into NYC for a 7:45 on CNN --Out Front with Erin Burnett."
Busy day for him.
agree as well, jay did make some mention to statements, under oath, from 5 people that said Joe was not part of the 1998 information loop. I think that's a preview of what will surface at the trials which will pretty much force people like Golic, Cowturd, and many others to rethink their position, because after today they are only clinging on their thought that Joe knew everything in 1998....without that, their theory is shot. I think Jay did a very good job of correcting all the other misconceptions out there.
Geeze Us, Jay is relentless, I was one of those that hated him as a QB coach at PSU but he sure seems to be handling this just fine. As I have heard more then a few people mention, he may be very well suited in politics.
Either that or the next A.D. at PSU once Joyner loses Erickson.
On that, does Joyner just get to go back to the BOT once his time as AD is over?
