I figured to start another one so the three different interviews could be kept apart.
when does he go on?
What time will he be on?

"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
1:45 and the next guest they have on is 2:15, so they either have 1/2 hour with Jay OR they cut him short like the asshat did.
Just because i listen to this show often, they never take guests for more than one segment. He'll likely just be on from 1:47 - 1:55 or so.
That is what I was afraid of. I heard the other two and they were very similar in that they asked the same questions and Jay really couldn't expand or go in to other details.
What do you want him to expand on? These are 5-10 minute interviews with clowns like Cowherd constantly cutting him off.
This is all good stuff that people dont know. We know this stuff as we follow this case like no other, but 99.999% do not.
Umm, I think you just answered your own question. Everytime Jay would go in to something CC would cut him off.
As for the SVP segment it is by far the best of the day. It is what you get when you have a professional ask the questions.
You can't compare M&M, and SVP with Cowherd. So far, like M&M, SVP is being respectful and letting him answer questions, Cowherd was just a big fizzy doosh.
Looks like he got the 30 minutes, unless he started late.
Thank you SVP and Ryan....True professionals.
I give Jay a 10 out of 10 today on the circuit. He killed it.
People here and on other PSU sites might say he didnt bring up anything new or get into things, but you need to remember we are a VERRRY small percentage of even the PSU fanbase that knows this stuff as we have discussed it ad nauseum since Nov. 2011.
Difference is, we have expert opinions to back up a good portion of what we talked about for months. The fact that some of these clowns are evening softening their stance is encouraging.
Hopefully the NCAA, BOT, etc. can actually evaluate both reports.

Some good questions from SVP and Rusillo, some good answers from Jay, particularly on the Clemente stuff.

This may have been his best interview of the day.
He didn't get into the studio on time so they kept him for the first segment at the top of the hour.
The follow up was the same old same old...
Jay - fact Jerry Sandusky never brought kid on campus or at least noone connected to the football team ever saw it.
SVP - Jerry kept bringing kids on campus and everyone knew about it
It was good up until Jay left, and then they continued to get facts wrong again. They, like so many others, couldnt comprehend that Sandusky was being removed from coaching PRIOR to 1998 incident and not as a result of something 1998 incident related that Joe knew. Even Freeh got that part right. Wish these people would just READ SOMETHING before spouting off.
This is why popular opinion will never change. We need to be happy we are having our beliefs substantiated. The best we can hope for is Freeh will be called out and forced to prove his accusations (maybe in court?) and the NCAA need to justify their punishment (maybe in court?). And most of all change will occur in the state government to fix the CYS and DPW who let JS go for so long.
But popular opinion will never change because the media and general public are too lazy and stupid!!!
I couldnt care less about popular opinion.
I do care people like Senator Corman, those 2 democrats, the first BOT member, and another high profile guy in Phil Knight coming out and saying the Freeh report needs to be seriously examined considering the effects it has had on PSU, specifically the NCAA sanctions. It seems to be at least opening some people's eyes, even if those eyes are politically motivated, because lets face it, the only time anything is done in politics is if it is politcally motivated.
How about the role of NCAA Apointed George Mitchell in all of this? Is it possible, I know not very likely, that he can come out and say, "Look, I know what I was supposed to come here and do, but this place isn't messed up."
I wonder how much he is charging the NCAA to be their little watch dog and possible insider.
Which makes me think....Emmert placed him at PSU, could he have placed him there to be able to have a fly on the wall in case any other Sh*t hit the fan?
People views will not start to really change until Tim Curley and Gary Schultz explain the emails that were leaked. People want a explanation from the guilty parties.
He has already said that there is nothing to see here. He's just collecting a check and he knows it.
Actually, I believe Penn State is paying for the cost of Mitchell, not the NCAA.
really that is strange...didn't the ncaa appoint him?
They appoint him yet we pay?
I don't find it strange, given how the NCAA has handled everything else. They don't want to bear the cost for something they consider necessary because we screwed up (in their minds.)
The article I read was a little vague, but basically said that Penn State was to bear the expense for Mitchell's oversight of the athletic program. What they didn't know was if Penn State paid him directly, or paid the NCAA for the cost of him.
I found the quote; link to article is underneath:
"Penn State is expected to pay Mitchell’s expenses under the consent decree, though it was not clear if Mitchell would draw a salary or who will provide the funds for that position. "
Mitchell will prepare progress reports on Penn State's compliance with a yet-to-be-completed Athletic Integrity Agreement in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.
