I believe Cowherd just said that he was going to have Jay on too....not sure what time though.
Cowherd said that he is going to "go after Jay."
Should be interesting........
I just said that somewhere else.....if Jay is going to go on it will be amazing because Cowherd was just filled with incredibel wrong statements.
I would like to see Zeigler on The Herd....
Jay yes. Ziegler no.
He will be on at 12:15pm (EST).
The reason I say Ziegler as well is because Jay is really nice and polished in protecting the legacy, etc.....
Ziegs would hammer these clowns as soon as they bring up any kind of wrong statement. For example, if Golic ever said in 1998 Joe would have known someone was arrested Zeigs would trash him with the facts.
I just like JZ's approach at the truth.
He will just try to yell over Jay...hopefully, Jay doesn't let Colin spout of clear factual errors.
Is anyone listening to Cory Giger. What a tool!.
Just heard it. That was revolting.
And what did bleach boy have to say?
Basically said that the Paterno Report is a big waste of time and has zero standing.
Cory Geiger on cowterd. What a jack hole. Basically says no credibility and the Paternos' are connected to those doing the report including the former governor. Someone needs to beat him down.
Cowterd saying freeh interviewed 463 ppl now.
This is what gets me. And the Freeh report is complete and has standing???
After hearing that I would personally challenge Geiger to a debate on the facts. He personally just called out Jay and told Cowherd what to ask him.
Now I know Jay is a smart, smart man. He may not have answered the question the best the first time but now has three hours to prepare.....Oh I hope Cowherd does ask him that.
Thats what they do. Attack the messenger's credibility.
I forgot that these DB were on TV too. I'm really sorry that I turned the TV on in my office.
These gas bags have way to much power.
Giger is an idiot! I may just have to call into his radio show today, so I can bash him! He has one agenda, and that is to make a name for himself. Living in Altoona, I won't even buy the Altoona Mirror anymore because of him.
Man do I dislike Cowherd and I'm not confident he'll give Jay a fair chance, but we'll see.
As for Giger, he just tells the mainstream guys what they want to hear.
Just heard Jay on First Take. I usually hate Stephen A Smith and turn him off whenever he is on any show. But, to his credit, he asked good questions, and was respectful of Jay's answers. I thought it was a good interview all around.
Jay did a really solid job just now on First Take with Stephen A. and Skip.
Are you still watching?????
Anything different than Mike and Mike?
I was going to say, did he go off after Jay left stage?
I wrote that before the follow up. That said, I think the reaction is fair from Stephen A. He's not saying Joe covered anything up. He was open to new facts. But he is saying Joe, in his position, should have done more. He should have followed up. Whether I agree or disagree with his opinion, it's a valid opinion to have, unlike the whole cover up thing which has no basis of evidence.
None of us really know what we would have done in the situation, but there are a number of people who think they would have followed up, and pushed for a more thorough investigation. Since we don't have the benefit of being there in the moment, with the knowledge that those just have, we can only guess what we would have done.
I believe very few people would have done more. It's not our nature to call police on respected people unless we are sure. That's why they had the whole "see something say something" campaigns, as many people don't. We've all watched people had too much to drink get in a car, and I'm sure we'll all regret it if they kill someone, with the benefit of hindsight. But since we have hindsight in this case, it's impossible to know what we would have really done, and I can't blame people for thinking (hoping) they would have done more.
Not really. He's sticking with his position that Joe should have done more, based upon who he is. But he surprisingly seemed open to new facts.
