I disagree on Bolden. He did a great job of handling the playbook as a freshman, but what JayPa did to his throwing motion should be criminalized. Its as close to murder as you'll find in coaching. He actually regressed as he got older; he was better as a HS Sr/True Fr(first few games) than he was as a junior in college.
Where coaches screwed up Bolden so badly IMO was getting him so mind-effed that he couldn't complete a screen pass anymore. That's partially on him to push through, but the damage and travesty of coaching dug him in a deep hole.
JMO. And jive, in case you read this, I have no desire to argue about this anymore.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Keep in mind who was coaching them. You give me a choice between JayPa and OB to work with my QB is like asking me if I'd rather have sex with Rosanne or Mila Kunis.

See, I think it's a myth that Bolden "grasped the playbook better as a frosh" and actually got worse with more coaching from Jay (although there is truth about him trying to fix his throwing motion). From what I saw, Bolden was given about 10 plays to learn and work with out of the gate, which is why he looked pretty good. He had training wheels, for lack of a better term, but you can only use that for so long. Inevitably, they had to expand the playbook and defenses started coming after him once it was clear that he had no feel for pressure. Personally, I think it was a complete joke that Jay was even on the staff let alone in charge of the QBs and most of the offense. That is the one football related decisions that pushed me to the Joe must Go crowd. I have no doubt that Bolden wasn't going to reach his potential under Jay, I don't think his potential is that high regardless.
He's got enough time at LSU to make an impact if he is ANYTHING close to being a top 10 QB recruit so we should know in a couple years.

True, I never really thought about that. Unless you are thinking Roseanne.

Thanks for the correction because no one would have understood what I meant. GMAB
I'd take Roseanne to pound town... if it meant I'd get to with Mila Kunis later.
Pretty sure your ... would fall off after Roseanne.

Well, Waters made it out of Manhattan without committing. Closer comes into town tomorrow. Gotta believe we're going to have an answer by Tuesday or Wednesday.
Pretty simple. He can go to a place where there are three QBs returning and another on their 2013 commitment list or come to PSU with Bench returning and Hack coming in who will likely red shirt. Hope that he chooses wisely.
