Well he's visiting KSU this coming weekend so probably sometime after that.
"DOMINATE the state" - James Franklin 1/11/14
Nice research there.
If Waters wants to go to the pros, its an easy option.
So question...will BOB's visit to Waters be his first in-home visit to an uncommitted prospect?
I think it is.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Fitting as he is the most important recruit left.
I'd like this pm?

He visited couple of prospects in PA from what I read on another site.
@cdtguy: Penn State target. @JeffTBenson: Sources report Alabama football recruiter in state looking at JUCO QB Jake Waters of Iowa Western.
I saw the same thing. Not sure why Bama would be interested. Isn't McCarron a Jr?
Dominate The State
Yes he is... their back up is phillip ely and he is a RSFR. They also have a soph and 2 other freshmen on their roster. And Cooper Bateman a four star guy from Utah coming in this year too.
A guy who knows Waters and his family has said that Bama might offer if McCarron leaves early. That's it. Can't imagine there is any chance he leaves early.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
He's gotta know competition at 'Bama would be absolutely insane. They are STACKED at QB. They have 6 QBs on the current roster (none of which are graduating!) and 2 freshman coming in next year. That's 8 QBs and adding Waters would make 9. Am I missing something or does this sound like overkill? Given Saban the benefit of the doubt...Waters is now a known entity, has a redshirt year available, could be the lead guy if he develops but could also provide a LOT either as a backup or via the scout team.
But come on, do you get into that QB circus if you're Waters?
I wouldn't worry about this. He's got PSU written all over him. He can either compete against 1 other QB or compete against 8 other QB's.
Also, I doubt that McCarron leaves early.
Even if he did declare, it seems unlikely McCarron would do so before Jan 9th (beginning of Spring semester for Bama). Waters would have an extremely tight turnaround given that he's an EE.
Saban is the best in the game for a reason. He is just doing his homework here.
Highly doubt Waters gets an offer.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Who knows but I'd be shocked in Alabama offered Waters. From looking at their depth chart it wouldn't really make sense. Firstly, McCarron isn't leaving early. He is not a high end NFL prospect. Also with an 85 limit how many QB's can a team have on scholarship? Really doesn't seem like a likely destination for Waters IMO.
I am still confused on when he is supposed to be announcing his decision. Can somebody clarify this? If he knows he's PSU bound, isn't it in his best interest to declare ASAP as that will help the coaches recruit others?

Dude, there is no set announcement date. After he visits KSU, he will then sit down and figure it out. It could come at any moment after that. There is nothing to be confused about here.

Well that could put a cork in things on our end if he gets an offer from the Tide.
