Pitt is trending worldwide on Twitter for sucking this badly. Definitely go through the tweets for a good laugh. Embarrassing; hope Johnson and the rest of the prospects are tuned in.
If they aren't tuned in, I'm sure Urban Meyer will be calling them to remind them how bad Pitt is shortly.
Post of the year on their board:
"Cheat. Cheat. Cheat. Cheat.
I don't care how....go pay the best you can. Stop with this bullshit of fat, pussied, loser players and get real players. cheat like we used to."
Frankly, at this point, I don't care who gets Johnson and the rest of their (very few) legitimate D1 prospects as long as they don't go there. We all know that they were looking for a way to capitalize on everything going on here as a way to stick it to big brother, and there are very few fan-bases that showed such legitimate JOY about it all.
Seeing them miss out on two 5 stars in their backyard and win 2 games (or less) this year, slowly bleed out the recruiting class they've managed to patch together so far (bye-bye Clement), and then transfer over to the ACC and get beaten down even worse in the future would be a small bright spot during our bowl-ban years. Seeing the frustration in the fanbase as we proceed to out-recruit them and proceed stomp them down in 2016 will be delicious. At least we didn't self-administer our bowl ban, and ours actually has an end in sight. ;)
Really wish I had Mark May's phone number...............
Is there ANY chance that DJ reconsiders Penn State? If he chooses to look around, I still think he gives us a good look, particularly if the offense comes around.
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
I think he ends up at OSU.
hahahaha that just made my day!!
"People ask me why I stayed here so long, Look around, Look around, I stay here because I love you all" R.I.P. Joe - 12/21/1926-01/22/2012
No. I think he'll wind up at OSU or WVU.

he claims that Pitt is his #1, u think thats just a little smoke screen at this point?
JMO, he winds up at WVU.
Pitt's o-line loses 2 starters this year and really two of their best linemen (jackobson and Turnley)
He claimed that right before committing to us as well
Describing any Pitt offensive linemen as one of their best is like the 200 LB woman that is the hotest chick amongst her 5 other even fatter friends.
worst decision they made was firing Wanny, he would be cleaning up on recruiting the past two years, wasn't the best game day coach but got them talent
I'm not sure Lumpy even starts for us to be honest.
Sadly I think that poster is right. It doesn't pay to do things the right way or cooperate with the NCAA, so why not?
Make up no-show classes and hand out some A's like Halloween candy, NCAA has no jurisdiction.
Pay a top recruits Dad for the services of his son just as long as the son isn't aware he's being sold to the highest bidder, NCAA won't do a thing.
Knowingly and willingly lie to the NCAA to keep players eligible and you get a slap on the wrist.
The NCAA has certainly shown what culture they're promoting, and the risk/reward of cheating pays big dividends.

You don't even get a slap on the wrist for lying to the NCAA to keep student-athletes eligible these days. What did UNC get?
They got an academic integrity monitor.... oh wait, no, that was us.
But, Bob Lichenfels rated him as a 5 star recruit and a better prospect than Stefen Wisniewski so how could that be:)
With the way he talked about Lumpy, once he verballed to Pitt, he was good enough to start for the Steelers at that point.
Yes. He's under an incredible amount of local pressure to choose Pitt. He wasn't afraid to go against that grain before. I don't think he'll be afraid to do it again when comparing a 1-3 win team w yet another HC on the hot seat to other local programs on the rise. Both OSU and WVU could use a gifted OT pretty badly, and in complete honesty, both of their situations are more attractive than anything in PA at the moment.
Shayne Hale was a 5 star and is a senior that is a backup DE - these things happen tho
happens to us too, look at Eric Shrive
Bob overhyped every kid that Pitt had a great chance for from the Pittsburgh area. Dorin Dickerson, Hale, Jacobsen, Revis, McKillop, LS-H, Aaron Smith, Byham, Pinkston, Nate Nix, Lucas Nix, Malecki, Lindsey, Caragein, Chris Burns off the top of my head ... please feel free to add.
The only ones that materialized were Revis and McKillop was a solid collegiate player. All the rest - not so much.
